I recently completed my first story map and I am very excited! The focus of the map is to introduce high school students to Aldo Leopold's time in the southwest. Leopold is considered the "father" of science-based wildlife management. His ideas, still used today, were fostered by his time exploring Arizona and the southwest. In this story map, students take a virtual journey in his footsteps to visit those influential places. In the process, they engage with a number of primary source documents.
