Thank you Peter. For some reason hyperlinks stored within field in attribute table became dysfunctional - right after upgrading to 10.9.1. Custom popup in the 10.9.1 classic map viewer no longer supports ftp://, UNC and "file://" links, only links starting from "http://" and "https://" My guess it caused by new handler/ new html tags introduced for the hyperlink fields? Instead of handling those links properly (like it was in 10.8.1) new handler defaults to webmap url trying to add # blah-blah-blah after webmap url? Editing html and wiping out newly added tags does not help - UNC/file:// links are still not clickable/neither users cannot copy hyperlink after right-click on the link

Well, escalated that bug twice at my esri/my organization/support. Esri support replied that bug fixed in coming arcgis pro version 2.9

After messing a lot with ground transparency, elevation properties (adding offsets), ground vertical exaggeration etc - exported file is still flickering and whole animation thing in Arcgis Pro is glitchy / not robust. It is possible to avoid z-fighting for 3d layers by using Depth priority, but there no solution for 2d layers (like transparent footprints, land positions and roads on top) except for exporting things to KML and going back to Google Earth pro to record animation. Besides the flickering, marker sizes are jerky and jumping when flying down from regional scale to local (no way to keep marker symbols consistent/same size during fly-in), layer visibility ranges simply ignored in local scene, custom projection causing "ghost labels", reference/vector tile layers are falling apart and never obey visible reference scale while exporting animation (i.e Reference/World_Boundaries_and_Places labels are unreadable/shuttered), animation export freezing application randomly with 100% GPU 0 load. Etc etc etc Was fighting all that in Pro version 2.7.3 and 2.8 P.S. While trying to export it on laptop with different nVidia card - it behaves different, but also randomly lock up during export. Exported animation frames have different set of glitches (white stitches dividing imagery tiles, but no flickering), so I guess all that related to nVidia drivers and handled outside of Arc. With no option to turn on software-based rendering.

Thank you Jayanta, Though - It looks like this option only available for geoprocessing, not for animation export/rendering I've set it to CPU- but Arc still using GPU before giving up - screenshot attached There got to be another place to choose software vs hardware animation frame rendering (I only see option DirectX vs OpenGL in the settings, not the hardware acceleration switch) Trying to export it on laptop with different nVidia card behaves different, but also randomly lock up during export. Exported animation frames have different set of glitches, so I guess all that related to nVidia drivers and handled outside of Arc. With no option to turn on software-based rendering.

I have the same issue with exporting animations - Arcgis Pro 2.7.3 and 2.8 just becoming unresponsive so I have to kill Arcgis Pro using task manager. Task manager shows up to 100% gpu load for Arcgis Pro process. It never generates any error logs, just become unresponsive What I also found it does not play well if other graphic-resource hungry application are running (i.e animation export became unresponsive immediately if Leapfrog 3d or similar runs as well) P.S. My graphic card works flawless (nVidia Quadro p4000, latest drivers) with other applications, and system is the powerful workstation with 16 physical cpu cores (32 logical) and 100+ GB of RAM

Hi Mark, I kinda suspect why ESRI does not allow to export layout as hi-res georeferenced raster. There is a workaround though. (1) Export layout to pdf with georeferencing information checked on. Make sure dpi is at least 300 and maximum detail. I am also setting pdf compression to something lossless - like LZW or none - to preserve details. (2) Use PDF to TIFF command to extract geotiff The only thing - Arcmap Desktop bombs out when exporting large layouts (paper sizes 36x48 inches and larger) with full detail and higher dpi - "Not enough memory to create metafile" since it is 32bit app with not very efficient memory management. So another workaround is to use Arcgis Pro to exporf pdf. You still can run into limit again - "GPU Resources exceeded..." Good luck

Thank you Mark! That's really old topic - nearly 4 yers old) Raster for polygons would take ages - I am working with huge NED DEM datasets. Any raster to vector conversions are exceptionally slow for monster datasets. As I remember - looking at old saved toolbox - I've finally used to very simple solution suggested earlier: (1) used Focal statistics with rectangle 2x2 cell filter to generate FocalMaxFlowAccumulation and FocalMinFlowAccumulation grids. (2) calculated raster where (FocalMaxFlowAccumulation >= ExactValue) AND (FocalMinFlowAccumulation < ExactValue) (3) Converted cells of step2 raster to points - voila - have found exact locations for given drainage flow accumulation values. Below is the snapshot of quick-and-dirty model to design stream sediment sampling program for 9 different survey resolution / initial drainage target size scenarios. !

Nope, does not help! Also tried to NULL flow accumulation grid outside of streams - does not help to get those points.

select cells according to the focal max and focal min of a 3 x 3 neighborhood: cells where the focal max exceeds 2750 and focal min is less than 2750 are cells through which the 2750 contour line must pass, for example. Nope, does not help! I have tried and both things do not work - generating whole stream network below given value of 2777, not a desired points (see snapshot). Contour lines are producing just mess around every pixel above desired value (2777 in my case) Egor

I am trying to generate sediment sampling locations as points for exact predefined flow accumulation values (i.e 2750 cells, 5500 cells etc). Those exact values are not in the flow accumulation grid - they have to be interpolated from neighboring values... Can I achieve this with: (1) just flow accumulation grid or (2) should I generate measured stream network from flow accumulation grid and generate point events for given flow accumulation values (still not sure if it is possible)? Any suggestions?
