Is the standalone table a DBF or stored in a Geodatabase? The Schema (fields) of CSV and XLSX cannot be edited in ArcGIS Pro. Have you tried importing the standalone table into a geodatabase? If the data is in the Geodatabase, the Relate may enforce a schema lock on the table. Remove the Relate, add the field, then configure the Relate again. Or, better yet, set up a Relationship Class in the GDB? https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/manage-file-gdb/file-geodatabases-and-locking.htm

John is hilarious. He creates great content. However, i am noticing that the basemap credits are Repeated for Every Map Frame, even if they use the same basemap. This means I get repeated Credits; multiple Esris USGSs, etc. etc. See attached screenshot Can logic be built into this function to NOT repeat sources? If creditvalue is in list, then don't add to list? Thanks for considering! #notAMonster

TL;DR: It would be at the very least helpful to use Absolute Paths WHILE Performing a Save As on an ArcGIS Project File. Then, the project could revert back to Relative Paths. @KoryKramer - Here are two scenarios. Another instructor here with the same issue. When teaching a new concept, sometimes it is helpful to build off of previous assignments, so students can use a nice map to show the differences between multiple projections, for example. I also ask students to keep their data organized, to prepare them for Real World GIS (which tends to breed chaos between data and maps and all the things everywhere... I digress..) In this case, I asked them to perform a Save As on the Project (from Lab 5), then store the new APRX in the LABS folder as "Lab6.aprx". The previous project was in the LABS/Lab5 folder, but when they APRX is saved in LABS, the Paths to the Layers, Table, Folder Connections, etc. are all BROKEN. [In hindsight, this is a Teachable Moment, so maybe I shouldn't complain!] Here's another scenario: I'm asking the Graduate Assistant who has "GIS Experience" to perform some analysis or map some of my research data. I sure as heck don't want them EDITING the data or changing my previous project work, but I don't have Fancy Enterprise cause my Grant was small. So, I Save a Copy of the APRX into a folder they can Edit, but I want to keep the Project Data in a separate folder they can read, but not edit. When I send them a link to their folder, and they open the APRX, it should still point to my GDB, even using Relative Paths, but shouldn't show them Broken Layers. Instead, I have to fix all the layers before sending them the link.

In order to resolve this problem, I had to make a New Survey from File in Connect, then publish that survey. Luckily, I had not distributed the survey or set up the QR code materials yet. Now that I have a new copy of the survey, any updates in Connect seem to publish without issue.

I experienced the same issue. I found that if I "pulled" the survey into Connect instead of "pushing" from AGO that it worked. However! I will warn you that I was not able to "republish" that survey after making changes. The best workaround I have found, so far, is to create a New Survey using the old XML file. It sounds like you don't have to worry about the URL to the Survey so you are in luck.

I just modified the data validation and added 'types!' after the =. Also reported to support, so you should see something soon as they could repro. Always happy to help! ER

I think there may be a problem with this in the new Survey123. Here's my workflow for repro: 1. Create a basic survey on the website. Easy to drag drop and get started before adding all the fun stuff. Publish. 2. Open Survey123 Connect and download and open the Web Survey. 3. Try entering null into the bind::esri:fieldtype box. ERROR. It looks like validation is looking for esri fieldtypes on the same worksheet ('=$A$155:$A$162') and not on the types sheet or maybe it's supposed to be somewhere else. In the Constraints Sample, the data validation is pointing to '=types!$A$141:$A$149', which has all the field types. Just to be sure, I checked another survey that I created online when I was having trouble with the GRID syntax (still am, honestly...), and that also had the data validation referencing the current (survey) worksheet and not the types worksheet. So, long story short: the XLS created from an Online Survey does not have the right bind::esri:fieldType Data Validation reference. I'll submit through support but just in case anyone else runs into this problem.

Unfortunately, these students are in a summer program and we aren't supposed to use their email addresses. It would be helpful if the learning plans could be assigned to actual Users in an Organization, in addition to sending an email. I have one other question: How can I embed a Learning Plan in a Story Map? I posted details here.

Hello! I'm using A Story Map and an Esri Academy Learning Plan for a course's Day One Introduction. I am using a tabbed story map, and am trying to embed my (Published) Learning Plan in one of the Tabs. However, the content of the Learning Plan does not display! In the past, I've seen this issue when the URL was not HTTPS, but this one is. Here is the Learning Plan link: https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/5cd4526fede0e1600f361db8/mcsmsrtp-summer-2019-gis-participant-plan/ Any ideas why this won't display inside the Story Map Tab? I can work around it, but I wanted to see if anyone could help! Thanks! Emeline

I would like to assign training plans to users in my organization (students). Is this functionality available? I would think that we would be able to do that pretty easily since I use the same login to access learning as I do to access the organization.

The following enhancement is marked as "In Product Plan", so it is likely that they will allow configuration of the entire "working directory" (currently Documents/ArcGIS) in the future: #ENH-000105809 [Enhancement] User wants to change the location manually when unpacking the package in ArcGIS Pro. If you have support, please add your organization to the Enhancement request and include a note about the Temp Folder. I did include in my submission the information about the System Environment Variable and the Registry Setting that could be changed in ArcMap.
