You are right! They are strings. I will have to convert them to doubles. Let's see how that works! Suggestions?

I am unable to display the coordinates XY since I do not visualise the fields containing them into the drop-down menu of the "Display XY" or Make XY Event layer. The fields are perfectly fine in the tables. There are no spaces, blanks. Tried imported the files as Excel, CSV, DBF. Ideas on why is this happening? Solutions? Thanks in advance!

Hello! I am trying to build a mapbook including 20 different layers. The mapbook will therefore have 20 maps. For each layer I have imported the same symbology - color, shape of the symbol etc.- and I have used the Multiple Attributes marker to show frequency of occurrences per location. Now, I am trying to set a universal legend at the very beginning of the mapbook, where I would like to display the size of the symbol in relation to the numbers of frequencies, the lowest 1, the highest 189. 1. Ho can I normalize the symbology in all layers so that the symbols adjust their dimension to the number of occurrences? e.g. in one layer I only have 3 locations with respectively 1, 4, and 9 occurrences but in other I might have 65 locations with many more occurrences, and I would like the symbology to be proportionate and consistent throughout all the maps. 2. How can I set a universal legend at the beginning of the mapbook? Many many thanks in advance!

Hello! I have a map with six feature that I would like to label. Labels should show the dates when events happened at every specific location - my features. I have set everything in the Layer Properties - Labels. For one specific feature I have nine dates, which should then be 9 labels. Yet, I can only visualize 3 of them and I can only see the remaining 5 as unplaced. If I reduce the font from Arial 9 to Arial 7, I can visualize 4 labels out of 9. Can anyone explain 1) why am I not able to display all labels, 2) how to display them all? Thanks!
