Hello, I am having an issue with the textures for the buildings that I have created via Google Sketchup 8. I started out by digitizing the footprints for the buildings in ArcMap 10 and then brought them into ArcGlobe 10. In ArcGlobe 10, I converted them into Multipatches and then the Multipatches into Colladas which I brought into Google Sketchup 8. I built the buildings from the collada footprints that I created with basic textures (colors, brick/masonry textures all provided by sketchup) I saved it as a component, saved it as a Sketchup 6 file and also exported it as a collada file. When I brought it back into ArcGlobe/ArcScene 10 I clicked on the multipatch and selected replace with model and replaced it with the collada model. Everything came in correctly with all the textures attached. The problem came about when I went to save the edits that I had made once I did this all of the textures disappeared and the model held it's basic geometry but took on the color of the multipatch. I don't really know what I am doing wrong and what I can do to fix this issue. I've tried saving it as a layer file and then a layer package but had the same issue. I also checked the faces of the model in sketchup and they all seemed to be correct. I also saved each texture as a unique texture and that didn't work as well. If anyone has any ideas or if you know what I've done wrong PLEASE help! This is the first time I've had this issue and it's only happened with multipatch data the ones that I use to replace points come in perfectly normal even after I've saved the changes. Thanks!!!
