Matt Creaney Thanks for your suggestion - that was exactly what was causing the issue. Hopefully other people find this post too! Regards, Ed

Hey Matt Creaney, I had a similar issue, and after receiving support from Esri Inc, it turns out the issue with my report template was that I had multiple image references on a single line. Separating them onto dedicated lines fixed the issue with that report template. Unfortunately I now have another report template which was working fine previously, and as far as I can see it's not the same issue as I've checked all images within the template, so I'm uncertain the above will help, but it is worth checking. It is a little frustrating that the report templates will be parsed correctly when uploaded, but these issues still appear to be a syntax issue. This is compounded by the fact the error response given by the Survey123 website has no useful information to troubleshoot the cause of the error.

Hi Mitch Johnson, Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. It's good news that you're able to successfully login and publish a test item with Survey123 Connect. In general, creating forms through the web designer interface is an intuitive and simplified process, but at this stage won't offer the functionality you are after if you want to update a feature class within an enterprise geodatabase. Currently, Survey123 web designer forms are only compatible with hosted feature layers as far as I'm aware. The hosted feature layer associated with a web designer form is created in your Portal when first published. Survey123 connect provides the option to publish a web form if you would prefer to have users interact through a browser and avoid the use of the Survey123 field app. If you'd like to update an enterprise geodatabase feature class, you will need to publish the feature class as a referenced feature layer in your Portal, and create a survey which updates the existing feature service. Note that once you publish a feature class as a branch versioned (i.e. referenced) feature layer, it cannot be edited directly through an SDE connection and interaction with the layer must be done through the feature service. Regards, Ed

Hi Mitch Johnson, This may be a silly question, but is your Portal account a Publisher role with a field app add-on licence bundle assigned to it? Also, are you able to connect to your Portal using Survey123 connect? Are you able to access your Portal from an external network? Regards, Ed

Hi Roy Cone, Shane Miles, One thing to check would be what service accounts Server and Portal were installed with, and what was used to configure Portal. If you're not sure this can be checked by opening Services within the Windows Administrative Tools within your start menu. If you're doing a base deployment as a basic proof of concept, it may be worth considering using an account with administrator privileges within the Server and Portal installation. When configuring Portal, it would be a good idea to ensure that the browser used is run using the same account for the Portal install, and ensure that the account has sufficient privileges to access locations such as the Portal configuration location (default is usually in C:\arcgisportal or similar), as well as the Portal installation directory which contains another configuration file (default is usually <Portal for ArcGIS installation directory>\customizations\<version number>\framework\webapps\arcgis#home\js\arcgisonline\config.js) When initially configuring Portal, the initial URL provided after the installation completes can be pasted into a different browser instance which is opened using a 'run as' option for the a user which has appropriate permissions as above. It may be necessary to uninstall the Portal Web adaptor, Portal installation and delete the above directories and try again. Hi Sean Stonerock, I think using the Inbox of the survey form will probably be the easiest approach. A suggestion as to how this could be achieved is to publish your survey form with the fields you require including 'hidden' questions for the attributes of your address feature class and then load all of the address points into the feature layer created as part of the publishing process using the Python API or ArcGIS Pro. This should then populate the Inbox of your survey. There's a limit of 1000 records which will be displayed in the inbox; you can work around this by including a geopoint question within your survey which will enable the map option of the bottom of the inbox. By zooming to a particular area in the inbox map and hitting refresh, surveys only within the bounding box will be loaded, and should allow you to find a particular survey. If the geopoint question is set to "read only=yes" within the XLSForm, then the pre-determined location from loading in your address list will display within the survey, but won't be editable. It's probably also a good idea to set up some sort of inbox query expression so completed surveys are excluded, and change the settings of the feature layer so that the creation of new features is disabled, ensuring that users can only search for and edit the details of existing surveys/addresses. A submission URL tells a survey to point to a different feature layer - the inbox functionality should still operate the same as the feature layer created when publishing a survey. Hopefully that makes sense? If not, I'm happy to elaborate further. If this has been helpful or answered you question, please mark the response to help other GeoNet users!

Hi KEITH WILLIAMS, Within ArcGIS Pro you can navigate to the settings page and select the licencing tab on the left. You should be able to see a button for "Configure your licencing options" towards the bottom of the page. From there, you should be able follow the instructions on this page to either use a licence file or authorisation code. Alternatively, to authorise ArcMap, open the ArcGIS Administrator program in your windows start menu, select the Desktop folder on the left, and by clicking on the "Authorize Now" you should be able to follow a similar process to the ArcGIS Pro authorisation process; the the instructions are here. Hi Temple Digital Delivery Team, A couple of things to check: Are you able to locate the survey and feature service within portal? Are you able to login to the https://survey123.arcgis.com/ website with your enterprise credentials? If you can locate the published service within both portal and the survey 123 website, perhaps check if the survey has been shared to any required groups or the portal organisation, and whether you may be logged into Survey123 connect with an account which does not have permission to access the published survey. If this has been helpful or answered you question, please mark the response to help other GeoNet users!

Hi all, I had a similar issue a recently, but it wasn't a result of a Z elevation issue. I had created a network dataset using snapping, but I still wound up having network connectivity issues. I primarily use ArcGIS Pro, but a good tool to use to inspect network connectivity is the Network Identify tool in ArcMap. Additionally, there's a helpful blog and downloadable resource of ArcGIS Pro tasks to create a local government network dataset which might be of use in addition to the Paris multi-modal network tutorial.
