I'm trying to convert a Point to anything else but every function i use gives me the same error: Error: Conversion of one or more geometries failed. Please check whether input is valid. Invalid argument Point identifyPoint = mapview.toMapPoint(e.getX(), e.getY());
String s = CoordinateConversion.pointToDecimalDegrees(identifyPoint, mapview.getSpatialReference(), 2); This is the code i'm using, What am i doing wrong here?

In my app i'm using ESRI web service maps: http://services.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/World_Imagery/MapServer I'm loading the map into a ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer layer and when the event for Layer loaded is up, i set the extent & scale as so: double minscale = layer.getMinScale(); double maxscale = layer.getMaxScale(); CustomMapView.this.setMaxScale(maxscale); CustomMapView.this.setMinScale(minscale); Envelope boundaries = layer.getFullExtent(); CustomMapView.this.setMaxExtent(boundaries); But it doesn't work, and i can pan up and down to see the square grid. Why is that? How do i fix it?

No. When i run the app, i see the full extent of the tile file, automatically. But if i pan around i can see the squares of the missing tiles. How do i limit the panning only to that tile?

I know setExtent, requires 2 points bot-left to top-right. I tried playing with it. path = SATTELITE_BASEMAP_SERVICE_URL; ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer layer = new ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer(path); mapView.addLayer(layer, 0); Geometry boundries = layer.getExtent(); mapView.setExtent(boundries, 0); Not working with online & tpk maps.

Hi I'm loading world topo & sattelite map to mapview, when i pan it shows missing tiles. Same thing when working with local tpk files which are much much smaller. How can i set the scale of the zooming&panning to the limit of available tiles?

How can i set the mapview 'limits' to show on the map tile i added? I added just 1 tile locally, to experiment. And i want the map to not show the extra missing tiles surrounding it. I'm using the offline map tile for San fransisco. How can it be done?
