I've got a master directory on a remote drive that contains a pile of shapefiles and a subdirectory containing data in mdb format, and a directory containing imagery. I've been creating and publishing ArcReader maps in that master directory for years and had no problem viewing the data in AR. But once I updated to AR 10.5, the imagery and the layers in the mdb file are 'inaccessible' in ArcReader. The maps are quite large and creating a data package takes forever, and then some. I prefer to just publish the map using the local data. Has anybody experienced this behavior with AR 10.5? Eric

We use mobile mapping app called MotionX-GPS. In order to view shapefiles they have to be converted to GPX format. Current work process to do this is awkward - ArcMap to create kmz, unzip kmz to kml via extraction sw (7-zip), convert kml to gpx using GPSBabel. Would love to be able to convert, individually and/or as a batch, shapefiles into gpx formatted files compatible with Motion-GPX.

I'm working for a water company that is GPSing all their street valves. Most valves are located close to street intersections. I would like to geocode all the street intersections in the service area so that I can do a spatial join to link the street intersection information to the street valves. Has anyone got any idea if a tool like this exists? Thank, Eric

I've created 2 new single house address locators in the default geodatabase that I can 'see' using ArcCatalog, but when I try to create a Composite Locator I can only see one of them - despite the fact there are a bunch of older ones there too. Have tried refresh, close and restart etc. Using ArcMap 10 SP 3. Any suggestions will be appreciated! Eric
