Hello, We use ArcGIS feature layer on the map which are intended to be cached locally and synchronized. ArcGISFeatureLayer featureLayer = new ArcGISFeatureLayer(<url>, ArcGISFeatureLayer.MODE.ONDEMAND, <user credentials>) After doing synchronization being in Online mode with cashed data we do Refresh() for these layers: for(com.esri.android.map.Layer layer : <MapView>.getLayers()) { if (layer instanceof ArcGISFeatureLayer) { ((ArcGISFeatureLayer)layer).refresh(); } } But they are not refreshed immediately, only after some movements on the map (zooms, pans and so on…). Could you please help me?

Hi! I'm using a standart Popup class to edit a feature. But even though I have not made any input the method Popup.getUpdatedAttributes() returns non empty set. The content of this map is null values. I.e. all attributes which have null values are assumed to be changed by Popup and get into the result set inspite of the fact that no changes has been done. I may use a dummy solution and compare old values with new ones and check if they were changed but I'd like to know if there is a better solution. Can somebody help me? Thanks in advance!

Ok, we're using workaround here, just call MapView.zoomin() and MapView.zoomout() at once. It triggers zoom event and seems not to affect performance at least on Nexus 10, and some Samsung tablets. As soon as new version of SDK gets available we get rid of this clumsy method.

Hi all, I am listening to OnZoomListener event (mapView.setOnZoomListener). But it seems that it doesn’t handle changing of zoom of the map after MapView.SetExtent(….). Can someone help me how to handle it? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I'm trying to implement work with attachments in offline mode. But when I call the method GeodatabaseFeatureTable.addAttachment it just returns -1. Moreover the state of app gets corrupted after this call and the app is not even able to do queries. This issue appears if and only if some other application was called from my app e.g. the file was selected from gallery. If I just hardcode the path to a file then this method does not cause any problems. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

We're developing an android app which uses ArcGIS SDK for Android. In order to connect to secure layers we're using token based authorization. When the requested token has expired we'd like to refresh it but I cannot find a way how to catch this moment. What actually the ArcGIS library does is just writes error messages into log when a user pans or zooms: com.esri.core.io.EsriSecurityException: Invalid request <br>Usage: https://arcgis.example.com/arcgis/tokens?request=gettoken&username=username&password=password&<br>Usage: https://arcgis.example.com/arcgis/tokens/generateToken?username=username&password=password&<br>Usage: https://arcgis.example.com/arcgis/tokens/gettoken.html<br> I had a look at the sample mentioned in this article but the MapView event does not trigger the event when token gets expired. I know that I may refresh the token when expiration time comes but I think its better to handle this error because it more reliable and simple. Thanks in advance!
