Robert, See image below. I have the layerlist widget open in the sidebar. I would like to add image and link along side the label. Hope this clarifies things. Thanks, Diane

How did you get your individual widgets to stay closed under your group widget icon? Thanks for any insight.

Thanks Ifeoma for the steps! However I have very little experience programming in JS or other web languages. Could you provide more detail in what files need to altered. Or is this just too complex for a little tweaking of code. Anyway - its good to know that it can actually be done. Thanks again. Diane

Has anyone figured out how to have WAB dynamically populate the list of fields from a feature class selected in a GP widget? The choice list is always hard coded when upload my GP service. Is there something I am missing in the parameter definitions? Thanks in advance. Diane

Robert, FYI - if I wrap my script tool in model builder and then output that to a GP service - it will then allow a selection to output as an operational layer. Strange, but hey it works! Now for a new issue, if you don't mind. I am trying to have a tool where the user will select which fields of a feature set that would like to use. I have set my field parameter as a field type, with filter of field, and obtained from input feature set. This works great in arcmap, but once I port it over to a GP service - the choice list is hard coded to ones I selected in arcmap. Any trick to having the choice list being built dynamically from user selected feature set in WAB? Thanks for any thoughts. Diane

Hi Robert, I decided to just write a python script that would upload a csv file and convert it to a point feature. I successfully created a gp tool and uploaded it as a geoprocessing service. However the option to "add result as an operational layer" is greyed out. I have tired changing the output parameter from feature class to feature set, but still the operational layer is greyed out. Here is a link to the GP service info. http://flbs-rap1.flbs.umt.edu:6080/arcgis/rest/services/GPs/addcsv/GPServer I need to use these results in other tools. Thanks for any info or help. Diane

Robert, Thanks for pointing that out. I was hoping for a direct upload from a user's desktop. Is it common for users to upload a file to a web site for use in such tools. If so do you know of public sites where I could direct users to upload their csv file? Thanks again, Diane

Hey Robert, Do you have a widget that allows people to upload a csv file with coordinates in it to create an operational layer? I have the add shapefile widget, but I fear a lot of our end users might not have access to ESRI to create a shapefile. Thanks for any information, Diane

I have written a simple script that outputs a polygon shapefile. I want to display the output by quantiles. The tool runs fines, but fails to display the output polygon. I am thinking I have set up the output script parameters wrong and/or I have not set up xml file for the widget correctly for displaying. The tool can be found here http://rap-arcgis.ntsg.umt.edu/RAP/rest/services/Climate/vul_3choices/GPServer/Script Thanks in advance

I am using the selection widget to query data across the North Pacific Rim, however we have developed a custom projection that is best suited for this area. Our custom projection in centered on 180 longitude and 47.5 latitude. If I use ESRI's standard basemaps in the config.xml (web mercator projection) and a query is executed where data are selected in both N. America and Russia - it zooms out to the whole world. However if I set one of our in house base data layers as the only basemap in the config.xml - then the selection widget uses our custom projection and works great. However it is not as snazzy or pretty without imagery as a basemap. Is there anyway to hard code our spatial reference in the code? Thanks.
