Thanks for the reply Ken, I did see that sample, but was unable to figure out how to get that link into my infoWindow just by looking at the code. I am able to get an href link into my infoWindow, but I am not certain why the href link isn't able to call any functions within my javascript.

I want to put either an href link or a button in a infoWindow in one of my javascript mobile apps. The info window tells the cell value of a feature layer that is clicked on. Then I have added an infoWindow that calls a functions which should run a geoprocessing task. The problem is the link cannot seem to find the function no matter where I put it in my code. I am getting an error "Uncaught ReferenceError: MyFunction is not defined. Is it not possible to call a javascript function from an infoWindow?

I never had much trouble publishing gp services before, but suddenly anything I try to publish is throwing me a error code 00068 saying that there is a broken project data source. I tried publishing the exact some script on a different computer, where everything is stored in the same path location, and I had no problem publishing the geoprocessing service. This leads me to believe I changed some setting or something on my computer, which is now causing this error. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly be the issue? Thanks.

Could someone tell me what the path should be to the location of the .ags file on an ArcGIS server? I need to know the location of this file because it is one of the required parameters (connection_file_path) to run the CreateMapSDDraft tool. Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the reply Jonathan! Unfortunately I am a beginner and I am still not really following your solution. How exactly would I change the z-index of the .esriPopupWrapper CSS class? If this doesn't work, what am I writing in the code with map.infoWindow.domNode in order to specify the z-vaule? Sorry I am not following too well, still trying to learn javascript. Thanks again!

Hello, I have a infoWindow that shows up below some other div buttons on a mobile app I created. I would like to assign the z-index of the infoWindow to a very high value so that it is always shown on top. There was a solution for how to do this in this thread: How to change the z order of the Infowindow - solution My issue is, I do not know how to implement the part about, "document.getElementById('map_infowindow').style.zIndex = 9999; ". There is nowhere in my javascript which defines the infoWindow as an element you can get by Id, so I am not sure where in my code I should be defining this 'map_infowindow'. Could anyone help me out with this? Sorry I am still trying to learn javascript, thanks for the help!

Does anyone know how to save a raster dataset to an enterprise geodatabase. The raster dataset is the output of a geoprocessing service that I want to be able to save to an enterprise gdb. I am assuming I have to make an SDE connection and then save the dataset to the table space of interest. Any help/examples on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I recently switched a bunch of my layers to ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer so they would render faster. It has worked great, and the legend still displays fine in the legend accordion, but when I use the print task to export the map to a pdf, the legend for the layer is no longer in the printTask output. Any idea why this is? Thank you!

Hey I would really appreciate some help with a problem I have run into. I am trying to create a mobile app that allows me to bring up a pop-up window where I input some parameters that will be sent to a model. There is a button on the pop-up, which when clicked will allow the user to select a point on the map, and the coordinates for this point clicked will be sent to the model. The issue I am having is, once I bring up the pop-up window, and then click the select point from map button, the map flashes very briefly, but then just goes to a completely gray screen. The weirder thing however, when I first load the page, it actually shows the map when I click the select from map button, but it does not respond to my map onclick event that I set up when the select point from map button is clicked. Does anyone have an idea what may be going on? If it's any help, I am basing the app off of this example: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/jssamples/mobile_soilmap.html Where instead of the pop-up with the soil texture .jpg, I have a form where the user selects parameters which will be sent to a model.

Hmm, is the URL of the raster dataset publicy accessible? Looking at the Geoprocessing with result map service sample, it looks like raster data can be included in a legend. Thanks for your help Noah. I figured out that I was needing to define the raster as a ArcGISDynamicServiceLayer instead of a FeatureLayer.

Alright then. And what happens if you swap in your service into a different sample, like the Legend sample? Can you see the Legend now? I swapped out both waterbodies and rivers with my raster, and nothing appears in the legend. I think it has something to do with it being a raster dataset, and not a polygon...

Hi Peter, Not sure exactly, but one good thing to check would be the Legend in the Map Service at REST. The soil survey sample you indicated has a legend that is visible at REST. Is this the same for your raster dataset? -Noah Hey Noah, Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am able to view the legend at REST.

Hello, I published a raster dataset as a map service. I then want to be able to use this raster in a mobile app, and view it's legend. When I try to view it's legend, I just get a box that says no legend. I am basing my script off of this esri example: http://developers.arcgis.com/en/javascript/samples/mobile_soilmap/ Instead of using the soil survey as the layer to create the legend, I am trying to use a raster of temperature data. When I look at the capabilities of this map service in the ArcGIS server manager, you can not seem to allow feature access, which I think might be the problem. Could anyone let me know how I can create a legend for my raster in this situation? Thanks!

I would suggest watching the network traffic using developer tools in Chrome or Firebug in Firefox browser, and look for console error messages. Also, watch the request that sent out and look if it throws an error message in the response. Thank you for the response. When I use the PrintTask with one of my map service layers in the map, I get some errors in the console box which say, "Error {code: 400, message: "Unable to complete operation.", details: Array[1], log: undefined, _ssl: undefined}". Do you think this confirms the fact that I need a proxy page or might there be something else going on?

as far as i know, to use the print task all your services must be publicly accessable The security setting for my map services are "public, available to everyone".
