Agree, it would be a great snapping option. Try the Feature to Point GP tool and use default settings to snap points to centroids.

Welcome to working with esri software Randy! When you begin troubleshooting, you must always ask yourself: 'Could this be an esri bug?', the answer is usually yes. esri also likes to change and update things without saying anything... Always good to start with searching GeoNet for your problem. Still the best and most prolific GIS out there tho and not going anywhere. Support will come around. Try publishing simple symbols, or use your Enterprise Portal if you can

We also encountered this today. Published three layers to AGOL as a service, point symbols did not show up at all in iOS Collector, but data and layers were there in the web map. Poly layer was fine. We published 'dumb symbols' (default point circles with color), from ArcMap and they displayed from iOS Collector/AGOL with no problems The hosted features were published from Windows 7 and 10 with latest updates. Does not appear to be an issue with our Portal. We pushed our fancy symbols from ArcMap to Portal and found an offline configured basemap (NatGeo World, no stupid esri credentials asked for...) to use for our remote field crew Hopefully esri has this resolved by conference time... cuz we LOVE to complain! Voted up, I could have a similar need. I'd like to just click on a point in my web-app and have all related tables listed or displayed on sidebar, minimum clicking, and only related table info. While still having my point layer data in pop-up Diana, You could try using the Query Widget. Preset some queries to search by county or species, or both! It works very well with analytical data for my point layers. and you can export queries to excel tables. Still plenty of clicking and clacking tho....

Average idea, thought I'd throw this one out there anyway. Tired of calling the field crew to tell them to reload, or how to reload. collector for arcgis app collector layer web-map #arcgis enterprise 10.6.1

Hi Clinton, I went back to my Portal Content page where the orphan Item was located, clicked its select checkbox, then used the 'change owner' option. I moved the item owner to a different portal username, (which I think forces an update to WA url the new owner is under) then was successful deleting the item through the REST API under that user name. (maybe the delete would've worked through Portal Content also) Clean Portal! Yaaaay! Hopefully works for you

Portal 10.6.1 / Server2012 R2 / DataStore Portal Content - Create - Feature Layer: All Feature layer Templates return this message when I click 'Create': xxxxxxx.xxx/portal/sharing/rest/content/items/541bcb6cf8064eef924c1a22b4dc6af2/data' does not exist or is inaccessible. This is because I "cleaned" the C:/arcgisportal/content/items directory in an attempt to delete an orphaned content item from a previous federation. The items are deleted from recycle bin Where do I find these? How do get them back in the content folder for Portal to access when called for? arcgis portal 10.6.1 arcgis enterprise deployment feature layer creation arcgis server 10.6.1 arcgis server & portal for arcgis federated server

Success! But in a round about way. So I hooked up with my REST API. I was able to navigate to the folder and orphan item, then try the deleteitems command with my orphan ID in the box. Its takes me to a blank page in the API with only one 'rest API' link that takes me to the esri documentation, dead end. But very nice to access content this way. Next, I went back to my Portal Content page where the orphan Item was located, clicked the checkbox, then the 'change owner' option. Moved the owner to a different portal user, then was successful deleting the item through the REST API under that user name. (maybe it would've worked through Portal Content also) Clean Portal!

Hey All, I had a similar problem with our Portal print services, which we don't really use (portal 10.6.1, Federated, hosting server), Pointing to my server utilities ala "https://server.domomain.org/arcgis/rest/services/Utilities/PrintingTools/GPServer/Export%20Web%20Map%20Task" didn't work - also our Server Manager did not list a print service anywhere. I'm not concerned about custom templates, just wanted my logs to be clean, pointing to AGOL worked fine on our Portal: https://utility.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/Utilities/PrintingTools/GPServer/Export%20Web%20Map%20Task It gave us 9 templates! And my logs are clean. Any concerns I may not see?

So, I get my label expression to color right with text formatting callouts (<CLR></CLR>), BUT There's a stupid double quote that winds up on the end of my label, below: I've tried deleting each quote in my VBscript, no dice. My VB Script: [SI_boring_previous.LOCATION_NAME] & vbnewline &"<CLR red = '255' green = '51' blue = '204'>"&"("&[gis_join$.Pb_VALUE]&[gis_join$.F4]&")""</CLR>" Any thoughts? bug?
