In the Dynamic Value table the parameters you specify in the Value Info field are in the form Name|{Width}|{Format}[seq]. {Width} is the length of the identifier. If the current value of [seq] is shorter than this value, zeros will be added to the left of [seq] to create the specified width. So in your example the Value Info field would be something like: HYDRANT|5|HY-[seq] See this for more info: ArcGIS for Local Government 10.2

Also ensure that your GenerateID table is properly complying with the instructions in the documentation: The GenerateID table must contain rows where the SEQNAME field has a combination of Sequence Name and grid identifier. For example, to generate identifiers for features in grids with identifiers 5 and 6 using the Sequence Name GRIDIDX, two rows must be added to the GenerateID table where the SEQNAME field has a value of GRIDIDX5 for one, and GRIDIDX6 for the other.

To skip an optional parameter you should place two vertical bar characters consecutively to mark the skipped parameter: MapIndex|PageName|Seq_Num||[id][seq]. This is functionally the same as putting a zero for the width in this case. Ensure the field ASSETID is of the correct type to hold the identifier (integer vs string). Also make sure you are using the actual field names in the value info statement and not an alias. If all this checks out, rerun it making sure to use GENERATE_ID_BY_INTERSECT and properly skipping the width parameter and let me know if the debug message has changed at all.

It looks like you are also missing the width parameter. Your Value Info statement should look like: MapIndex|PageName|Seq_Num|0|[id]-[seq]

It looks like the method you want in this case is "GENERATE_ID_BY_INTERSECT". Likely just a typo. Here is the help page on it: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/localgovernment/10.2/028s/028s00000089000000.htm

I'm also a new Addressing GIS tech at the Fairbanks North Star Borough. What we do for our main highways is have two overlapping series of line segments for each highway. One series is ranged using our standard numbering system which is one address number every 16.5 ft (Chapter 17.10 GENERAL PROVISIONS). The other series is numbered using mile markers, but the numbers are multiplied by 100 so that there is no overlap between numbers in the standard system and the mileage system. This way when a firefighter looks at their page and they see 33100 they know its mile 331 not house 331. As far as development goes, generally if there are buildings going up by multiple owners there will be a road easement from the highway that gets platted and named and the addresses will be assigned off that. If there are multiple buildings from the same owner with only a private driveway, for example a bunch of rental cabins (which is common here) we will often give them sub-addresses (1234 Parks Hwy Cabin A, B, C, etc). Let me know if you have any questions!

I have a raster that has a very large range but narrow variance. I want to show the small changes from the mean and put less emphasis on the outliers. The problem is there are not enough histogram bins to get much resolution when I stretch the histogram. In the attached image you can see only a few pink bins that are representing the post-stretch histogram. Is there a way to increase the number of bins so I can get more resolution?

I have a raster set of bathymetry data, but there are some holes of no data in it. I would like to fill these holes by interpolating the values. Is there a way to do this? Further, if possible I would like to interpolate out to the edge of my shoreline polygon (depth = 0). I'm at a loss at how to do this.
