This would be a much appreciated enhancement. I lecture at University and many students have been caught out with the 20 minute time out while looking up stuff on the Internet; with no autosave they lose their work. This is occurring often for all students … they even have a saying ‘idle coding is the devil of AGO’ (i.e. variation on the idle hands). David Pullar University of Queensland

The arcgis.raster convolution function has input kernel; description says it can use a 'well known kernel from arcgis.raster.kernels', but I cannot find where this is? Any help appreciated or an example of defining a defined kernel, i.e. list of lists.

ArcGIS API for Python ArcGIS Online (AGO) supports access and mapping OGC layers from the web for WFS, WMS and WMTS. It would be nice if OGC layers could also be displayed in a Jupyter Notebook. Currently if you display an AGO webmap that contains OGC layers in a notebook they are not displayed. Or if you have an OGC layer in AGO and try add it to a mapview in a notebook you get an error. It is understandable that there are limitations; but you would expect display of OGC layers in AGO map viewer should also work in the ArcGIS API for Python map viewer. David

ESRI documentation discusses support for OGC sources in ArcGIS Online; they have links to examples of WFS, WMS in ArcGIS Online. You would expect to be able to display and access these examples in a Notebook. But WebView does not display the OGC layers. Example for USGS Asbestos locations: asbestos_wfs_webmap = gis.content.get('4d852e3e8f65485688def3211bf7f277') from arcgis.mapping import WebMap webview_obj = WebMap(asbestos_wfs_webmap) webview_obj

I have similar situation with University computer lab and sometimes getting these inexplicable problems. On the times I have looked into it for a student, it appears that the raster calculator is giving correct result but the output statistics are messed up so it shows as negative values or large values in TOC. You can recompute statistics properties for a raster (which fixes result) but is difficult to explain to students on the occasions it does happen. I can see why ESRI could find this bug hard to track down, but at the same time we use many software packages in computer labs and do not have these problems.
