Hello all, I am experiencing trouble using Feature Class to Feature Class in Modelbuilder using ArcGIS Pro 2.5.1. I am using FC to FC to copy a feature class out of our production database into a FGDB on a local drive using an expression to query active or preliminary addresses (2 values). Whenever I run the model I get 3 errors and end up with an empty output. I have attached pictures showing the model (FC2FC_Model.JPG) and the errors I get when I try to run it (FC2FC_Error.JPG). I tried searching for solutions and have tried things such as toggling the "SQL" switch in the FC to FC properties and disabling M and Z values but it seems no matter how I set it up I still receive the errors. The odd part is that if I set it up the same way in ArcGIS Desktop 10.7.1 it works just fine. Unfortunately, I am creating this model as a piece to plug into Pro's Create Locator tool so I need FC to FC to work in Modebuilder using Pro. Has anyone else had this problem or better yet had this problem and was able to find out why it was happening? Here are some specifics that may help: -The project is stored/accessed from a file share drive -The input FC is stored in an SQL database and accessed via Database Connections in catalog -The output FGDB is stored on a local drive -Max

Though I wish you didn't have this problem in the first place, I am glad you brought it up here. I thought it may have been a fluke or must have been going crazy. Right now I hesitate to use Pro because now it means that in addition to saving, I manually copy the project folder every time I save. If you are able to figure this out without having to restore a backup (if that is even an option), please let us know how! In the meantime I wish you luck and hope others that may be having this problem can let us know so that we may be able to work with ESRI and narrow down the issue. -Max

Hello all I am in the process of migrating our mailing list generator from the Query widget to the newer Public Notification one using WAB for Devs. While testing the widget the problem I am running into is this: Simply using the drawing tools to create a search point, line or polygon creates a list works just fine (see attachment PublicNot_NoSDWorks.jpg), and will return results. However, checking the "Apply a search distance" box, either before or after placing a point, drawing a line or search polygon does not return any results (see attachment PublicNot_SDDoesNotWork.jpg). If I un-check the "Apply a search distance" box, the widget returns address results again. This is the case regardless if I configure the widget by checking the "Use selection drawing tools" box or not. The problem seems only to rely on whether or not the "Apply search distance" box is checked or not I am using WAB 2.15. Has anybody else had this specific problem before? -Max Mousseau

In the end, I was able to the project files from a backup of the shared network drive. I wish I could have found out whatever caused this in order to prevent it in the future, but I really need to move on with the project!

Oh, yes I did us FE to search for it, without success. To add, I created the project last week and had saved/closed/opened it several times before today so it should have saved to the same location. Unfortunately I will have to try restarting later today as I am using Pro on my GIS Server. -Max

Hello Dan, Thank you for getting back so quickly! I was working with a project saved on a shared network drive using its UNC path. I am not sure I follow your last question - I do have mapped network drives in Windows Explorer but sometimes I just type the direct path - does that answer it? -Max

Hello all, I had a project I was working on in ArcGIS Pro earlier today in which I had a toolbox with a few models, a script, and FME tools. A few minutes after having closed out Pro, I re-opened it and tried to open the project from the "Recent Projects" link. I then got a "Project not found" error with the message (attachment included), "Sorry, we couldn't find your project. Do you want to remove the project shortcut from your list of recent projects?" Instead of removing it I navigated to the project in Windows Explorer and found the .aprx to be missing along with the toolbox in which I had been doing work. I had searched about this problem a year or two ago (a coworker experienced this problem) and was able to find that a couple people had run into this before, but searching now seems to bring no results. I wanted to ask you all - have you had this problem of ArcGIS Pro disappearing projects before and were you able to recover your projects without restoring previous versions of the project's parent folder? I have spent a long time working on this project and would like to avoid having to start even from a recovery point. -Max EDIT: Please post here if you have had this problem too! There does not seem to be a solution at this point, but the more people that can share their experiences having this problem the more likely we are to be able to find out where this problem is stemming.
