I like the Dashboard theme in web app builder because it allows for setting up mulitple layer list widgets to group my layers into categories. I DON'T like the minimalist look - not titles, branding, etc. Is there a way to get the multiple layer list widgets to work in another theme style?

So ... if I've already built most of the survey in the web designer interface, I would have to start over with 123 Connect?

I want to have multiple map questions but seems I am not allowed in the web designer version. Seems odd for a map-oriented survey package. I basically want to ask: - Pick your favorite place in the community - Pick your least-favorite place I could use an additional question to have the user describe each one, but can't figure out how to use the map twice?

I want to allow for votes on comments placed by users, and have added a VoteNum field to my Feature Layer and configured it in the pop-up of the "map". I see that users can now vote on others' comments, but the field for VoteNum also appears in the dialog for new comment records - essentially allowing the user to enter "10" votes for their own comment. How can I eliminate the entry box from the form without disabling the "heart" voting button?

I have imported colors for a Manual Interval graduated color symbology. I've used using both an ArcMap LYR file and referenced an existing layer in my Pro document, but the lowest range does not adjust to the new minimum value. There seems to be no way to extend the minimum for the new range of values. When importing the symbology, I've tried all the options under "Update Symbology Ranges by Data", with no affect on the minimum range. Seems to be more a problem with modifying symbology, regardless of the import method.

Help on the Area Solar Radiation tool say "It is recommended to have your data in a projected coordinate system with units of meters." My input data is in a projected coordinate system (Ohio State Plane North Feet) and my Z units are feet. Will my output results be WH per square feet?

It seems that we had overcome the hyperlinking problem by using the Terrago GeoPDF product. It's and add-on for ArcGIS. Its been a couple of years since I used it, but it did allow us to hyperlink between various map scales in our atlas, from countywide to medium scale to largest scale, just by clicking on the grids. The software has lots of other great features for embedding coordinates and attribute data into PDFs. The simplest license level of the product should provide the hyperlinking. Unfortunately, I don't remember the details of how to do it ...

I found a workaround (I think). If you set up the labeling parameters in a 2D window, then copy/paste that layer from the 2D window to the 3D window, then those layer properties carry over. So - I keep both windows (2D and 3D) open, and "Link" them so that they are synchronized views (optional). I then use the 2D window to tweak any properties that need tweaking (including symbology, etc.), since it renders faster anyway. When ready, I then remove any old version of the layer in the 3D window and replace it by pasting the revised 2D layer. Doesn't seem that all labeling parameters are quite right though ... I also do some data editing, like building height values used for extrusion, in the 2D window, and the changes reflect in the 3D.

Thanks Jake. For some reason, my uploaded layers are not available for those options. It seems that if you add/upload into a map, you cannot access its properties. I’ve since uploaded into my “content” and it seems to have all the options I’m looking for. -Dan

I have uploaded a simple SHP file to a map in ArcGIS Online. I've added some customization within a map (symbology, custom popup, etc.). I'd like to keep managing that data set in desktop (adding, deleting records). How can I replace the data without losing my customizations. When I go to "Add Layer from File", I get another copy of the layer, with no customization.

Not clear on how/whether I can add a custom description for a layer. I see in your demonstration app that the "description" pop-up seems to allow for some customized test - or does it just grab one of the properties of the service? Ideally, I'd like to embed a URL in the description, so that users can get some narrative about the given layer.
