Hello All, I am looking for a quick and easy way to calculate the number of cells that are inbetween two values. Pretty much I have euclidean distance values which I have the symbology values to the following: 0-100, 100-200, 200-400, 400>. I would like to know how many cells are in each of these groups without having to reclass the raster (it's a huge file and these groupings are only experimental). Any ideas?

Pretty much I am looking for a way to extract micro-topographic features from a hillshade model that doesn't involve me manually tracing them. I am curious if there is any equation or program that recognises the changes in each cells elevation and then selects these features (they don't necessarily need to be classified but I need all micro-features selected so they can be weighted).

My apologies if I have posted this in the wrong area. I am looking for a way to selected micro-topographic features. Pretty much I want to extract all knolls, eskers, hummocks etc that are evident on the lidar into their own raster. Does anyone have any idea or any programs that can do this. Many thanks Scott

I have a series of raster data that I need to combine and get as sum of the values. One is an overlay of slope and another is the river data. The slope has a series of positive values and the river has a series of negative values. The issue I am having is that when I use the combine function, or the raster calculator it adds the values together fine, but the end layer is only of the parts that were added. In otherwords instead of the slope raster with negative values where the water is, I end up with only the water area (with its new values when combined with a slope). Does anyone know how I can combine the two layers, where if there is nothing to combine it maintains its original value while if it is combines where there is the river it has the new value.
