Thank you for reply! Sounds quite promising if I get it right. I meant using something like com.google.android.gms.location.FusedLocationProviderClient. So basically it's quite possible to use something like com.google.android.gms.location.FusedLocationProviderClient as LocationDisplay's location data source, right?

Dear colleagues, I have quite a big issue 🙂 I use ESRI's LocationDisplay module to get user locations and it seems there is no way to determine if a location is mocked one! I have a big requirement to disallow mocked locations... Am I right that LocationDisplay module can't tell me if a location is mocked one? Or did I miss something? If I have a need to filter out mocked locations, should I use native Android GPS methods to get GPS coordinates and abandon ESRI's LocationDisplay? Any tips maybe? Help would be much appreciated 🙂

Thank you for fast reply! Yeah, APK was mysteriously broken. Android Studio and Google Play didn't complain about that APK, but it resulted in a crash after install. The most interesting part is that it crashed on a line, related with ArcGISRuntimeEnvironment.setLicense() as I understand. Sadly I can't post stack trace at the moment, but I will try to do it on Monday. On the other side, I was able to make working APK and it is being reviewed by Google at the moment as I know. I'll let you know if there are problems with it. I have doubts with license checking, though. I guess you as a company check the license validity on every app init, right? Is it stable (I guess I have encountered failures from your side some months ago resulting in app crashes... Maybe server was down or something)? Is it necessary even with Runtime Lite license? P. S. No, I am not using R8 obfuscation

Hi, I developed quite basic Android mapping app with ArcGIS Android SDK v.100.6.0. using Runtime Lite license key "runtimelite,1000,xxxxxxxxxxxxx,none,xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx". App works well when developing, but I tried to publish it on Google Play and problems appeared! Google approves my app, everything seems to be ok, but when I download app to my device and run it, app crashes immediatelly! As I understand app crashes on the line ArcGISRuntimeEnvironment.setLicense(...)! So what is happening here?? Don't you allow to to publish apps with Runtime Lite license key to Google Play?

I guess no... It depends on computer more. By the way, I have noticed that sometimes one point vertex kinda detaches from polygon after editing, but it reconnects the polygon after another move. I could post some screenshots later this week. It's not a big deal, but a small visual bug.

Hi, I implemented graphic editing using esri/widgets/Sketch/SketchViewModel and I notice that there are a lot of times when I get map dragging instead graphic or it's vertex moving... I am using update() method with "reshape" tool. I mean: I am hovering over editable feature or it's vertex, than I am clicking and dragging that feature or it's vertex... but I get only map dragging instead of that feature editing... It occurs sometimes, not all the time... I guess it depends on computer. It may be more pronounced on slower computers. It is quite annoying for an user. Is it a known bug/feature/poor implementation of editing? P. S. I am working with polygons, but I can reproduce it on your sample Editor widget with configurations | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.14 too. Just mark some line for editing, hover over vertex (it visually becomes bigger) and don't hesitate to drag that vertex. I get map dragging almost all the time

Hi, There is a known bug BUG-000117567 (Release notes for 100.5.0—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android | ArcGIS for Developers) about app crashing on Xiaomi Redmi 6, but I reproduce it on SDK 100.6.0 too. Was it fixed in the latest SDK or no? If no, will it be fixed in next release? By the way, is there quite a gentle way to handle the crash? I would like to present a nice message to user or something like that...

Hi, I have a map, built with api version 100.4.0. And I have loading indicator on it which hides when mapView.loadStatus is .completed and shows in "else" clause. If I don't use locationDisplay, everything is fine, but the problem appears when I use locationDisplay. It seems whenever locationDisplay gets a new location, mapView.loadStatus changes it's value and my loading indicator shows-hides-shows continuously despite the fact I am staying in one position and that blue GPS dot on map is not wandering! That's very annoying. Is it a know bug? Is it a stupid feature?

Hi, it seems FeatureLayer creation fails when there is an empty space in SHP filename. I get "java.lang.IllegalStateException: The layer is not initialized or initialization failed.". When I am trying to load the same SHP file without empty space in it's name, everything is OK. Is it a bug?
