I have this very simpel script import arcpy, os from arcpy import env adr =r"\\gisbatch\servere\GIS-DB\GISEDIT\ADRESSE@GISEDIT.sde\GISDIST.ADRESSE.ENHED_ADR_BBR" env.workspace = os.path.dirname(adr) print arcpy.ParseTableName(os.path.basename(adr)) I had expected this reply "GISDIST, ADRESSE, ENHED_ADR_BBR" But I get this "(null), (null), GISDIST.ADRESSE.ENHED_ADR_BBR" What do I do wrong or if then, what is the purpose with the tool. Thanks Sebastian

I have made a geoprocessingtask that with a query select some fetures in a featureclass and then update the attributes for the selected features. The featureclass is a SDE featureclass, and it has all the right privileges to be edited by the SOC user. But when I run the task from the server, it completes ok, but still haven???t updated the features. If I run the same geoprossing tool in ArcMap it works. Have you tried anything like this, then please help.

Hi Derek. I still have the same problem in all browsers beside IE. In IE it works fine. I have all my content in dijit.layout.Contentpanes, the map have it??s own contentpane. I don??t use layoutcontainers or bordercontainers because then the contentpanes suddenly get hidden and the page is all white.

I have a strange problem with an application that I try to make. If I click on the map to set a point, the point is set far south from where then mouse is clicked and if I use shift to zoom in the map, the extent is again drawn far south from the mouse cursor. The code is at http://kortservice.vejle.dk/driftweb/

I try to make at tool that add some basic collums in front of a featureclass. then add some default values and dommains to the collums. The problem is when the featureclass has subtypes. Then you have to add the deafault values and dommains pr. subtypevalue. And to make a list of all the subtype values you have to make a distinct of the subtypefield. But how do I get the Subtype field by using geoprocessing with python or vbs ?
