Thank you for the response Philip. Is there a preferred way I could send this to you directly? The media and xlsx file has email addresses in it that I would prefer not to post here . I can remove and send as well, but not sure you prefer to see it all "as-is". Again, thank you for the response. Mike

I am using Survey123 with our enterprise Portal, running 10.6.1 (I believe) and have built my form with Connect. When using the Web Form, date fields with a calculation on them are showing with a value in the Web Form, but when the form is submitted, the date field for that record has no data to it. For this form, the Web Form is performing an Edit on an already existing record in the feature service. This is happening with all kinds of date calculations including today(), now(), and calculations like date(decimal-date-time(${other_date_field}) + 7). Oddly, this is not always the case. I have had the form working just fine performing a calculation with date(decimal-date-time(${other_date_field}) + 7). I made a few changes elsewhere in the form and this date field now exhibits the bug if any calculation is set. If a user manually selects a date, the value is properly passed through to the date field for that record. When I find this bug I have gotten around it by adding relevant statements to it (does not always work) or by telling my user in a Note field what they should set the date as and forcing them to manually set the date (not ideal).

I am getting a "Request not made over ssl" error when trying to run generate_report with the arcgis python API. I am able to connect to the survey manager, find a report template, etc. but cannot generate the report. I am using arcgis 1.5.3 and using Jupyter Notebook in Chrome. Has anyone seen this before and have a fix? Thanks in advance.

I'm getting some weird behavior from the Geoprocessing Widget in Web AppBuilder. I already have two geoprocessing services/widgets present in the Web App. One of these allows for the user to upload a file. I am trying to add a third geoprocessing service/widget to the Web App which also allows the user to upload a file, but it is acting odd and not displaying all the input parameters. If I add the new geoprocessing service/widget to an empty Web App it comes in just fine. If I then add the other geoprocessing service/widget that also has an upload capability, it acts up again and will not display the inputs. It seems to be an issue with the upload as any parameters before the upload file parameter show and all parameters after it fail to show. Has anyone else seen this behavior and any work arounds? Thanks in advance. Mike

Hi James, Thank you for the reply. The date field is set to allow for null values. I've tested this more and it appears to be isolated to my field team as I cannot recreate this issue. We both have the same device, an iPad Mini 4, but theirs is about a year and a half newer than mine. When I submit records, the date field stays null, but all the records they submit get populated with 1/1/1970 date. As a next step, I'll ask them to update their version of the Survey123 app just in case something is off there.

Interesting and thank you for digging in so thoroughly on this. I'll use another method to get my centroids for now. Appreciate the feedback and glad to know I am not going crazy.

I am using the Python API and attempting to query an AGOL hosted polygon feature layer to return back the centroids of the polygons. I set return_centroid=True in the query, but I do not see the centroid information returned in the data when I load to a dataframe or view the returned json. Below is my query: q = site_data_layer.query(where="1=1",return_centroid=True) When I run this same query on the layer via the REST API, I do get centroids back. Is this a bug or am I not structuring the query the proper way or not handling the returned data properly? Thank you in advance, Mike

It seems with the recent update to ArcGIS Online the Related Charts Widget is not working when a Date field is used as the Label Field. Previously, I had this widget working in many Web Apps with the Label Field using a Date field and it sorted and displayed the Date value correctly. All of a sudden this has stopped working for me in the recent AGOL update. Now, the widget just spins the loading image forever... If I use other field types as the Label Field, the widget works OK. Is anyone else experiencing this and maybe have a solution? Thanks in advance!
