I have been tasked with redesigning my organization's OpenData site. I know in the past, I have been able to use some glyphicons. Particularly, I have used the home, the question mark, magnifying glass, etc. Now I'm looking for the RSS feed icon, but I cannot find the source of the images to see if one is available. Is there documentation somewhere on what glyphs are included with ArcGIS Hub?

Hi Rebecca Thanks for your reply, but I don't think you understand what I was intending to ask. Maybe I didn't explain my problem well enough. Basically, the item that is found by a search on my open data page should not be available at all. it is an orphaned record, and does not have an ArcGIS online item connected to it. When I do share an ArcGIS online item to my Open Data site for an updated version of that dataset, I get two records. The one previously shared that is an orphaned record, and the new version of the data. I'd like to delete the orphaned record to avoid confusing my customers. Thanks again for looking into this, Chris

Previously I've created a document link item to a zipped File Geodatabase. This item has since been unshared with the Open Data Group, is no longer showing up in the Admin Data listing, but is still showing up as a searchable item on my organization's open data site. How do I remove it? I don't have an item ID or URL to the record, as it is a document link. I've attached screenshots to identify the record in question. open data pages opendata project open data ArcGIS Open Data community

I have one dataset that I've published in Open Data that is giving me constant problems. Whenever someone tries to download it, they get a "Status: An error occurred. Download failed" message. I've reset the dataset's cache, I've simplified the dataset and the symbology, I've tried to increase the performance of the dataset in any way that I know how, but with the same result. The other datasets in the parent rest service work correctly and download successfully. in the Open Data "Data" menu, it does have a warning stating "Warning Query performance on layer is suboptimal and will impact user experience.", but I don't know why this would be. The data show up in the open data map and in the open data tabular area without a problem and query just fine in these interfaces. Any suggestion or insight would be much appreciated. The dataset information is below: Open Data dataset link: http://geodata.myfwc.com/datasets/state-manatee-protection-zones-in-florida ArcGIS Online item link: https://myfwc.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=a95041ab2f034955a693b7b69f8e2ee9 Rest End Point: https://atoll.floridamarine.org/arcgis/rest/services/FWC_GIS/OpenData_Boating/MapServer/14 Courtney Claessens

Courtney, I am having a similar problem. I removed my custom domain from my version 1.10 site and enacted it on my 2.0 site to make sure it worked. I then cleared it from my 2.0 site to put it back on my 1.10 site, and I'm getting an error saying "This domain is already registered to a site." So, I tried to put it back on my 2.0 site and I get the same error. Now, when I put in my custom domain into a web browser, I get a message saying "This page has no content." How do I fix this? My version 1.10 site, which is where I want the custom domain right now is: data-myfwc.opendata.arcgis.com The custom domain may be locked up on this version 2.0 site: data2017-03-06t170630264z-myfwc.opendata.arcgis.com the custom domain record is geodata.myfwc.com Please help! Thanks, Chris

Thanks Rebecca, I haven’t done anything since the 5th. Maybe ESRI has refreshed something on their side. Thanks for letting me know. Chris Boland, GISP Biological Scientist IV / Enterprise Geodatabase Administrator

This is a function of ESRI's OpenData Product, not something that I'm doing on my local machine and sharing out. ESRI creates the zip file on their end from a published REST endpoint and caches it for future download.

recently some customers have been trying to download our Wildlife Management Area dataset (Dataset | FWC GIS & Mapping Data Downloads ). When they download the complete dataset as a shapefile, the zip file only contains the .xml, .dbf, .prj, & .cpg. I have refreshed the dataset in the Data management Tab of the Open Data site, but this has not fixed the problem. The geometry of the data are showing up in the service and in the map when visiting the dataset in Open Data. Is there anything I can do to resolve this if/when this happens in the future?

When we completed lowering the number of features downloaded to 1,000, increasing the heap size for both the SOC and the Server Heaps, cleared the caches, and determined which downloads should really be manual (the more static datasets) versus automatic (often updated), the download performance was greatly increased on our OpenData site. Thanks for your help Daniel!

oh, ok Daniel. Good luck with that. I just spent sometime with my coworker and we increased the heap size and restarted all of our services. The website seems to be working a little bit better now, but I'm going to let a week or two pass before I can make an official determination. Thanks for your help. I'll let you know if i find anything else out. Chris

Daniel, I've talked with our IT Network staff and they said that we are not blocking anything on our side. Also, I was thinking about it and the results have been pretty inconsistent. If what you're saying is true that our network is blocking some traffic due to this setting, wouldn't this affect all of our data downloads on OpenData? All of our services for OpenData are being populated from one server, but some datasets are downloading just fine. Anyway, we're going to try to alter the heap size this afternoon and see how that affects the failed downloads issue. Hopefully we can come up with something else here soon. Thanks again, Chris

Daniel, Can you supply us with the full call request and the full error message that you’re receiving on your end? When I log into OpenData Data Manager, I’m not seeing this error anywhere. I can’t replicated what you’re seeing. I don’t know if this will help you in your analysis of the issue, but the way our infrastructure is set up, we have a single server instance of ArcGIS Server sitting behind a reverse proxy which is in turn behind a firewall.

I can look into it, but I have no idea how to set that setting. If you have any insight into that setting please share. I’ll do some google searches in the meantime.
