We have an Image Server configured with a Hosted Raster Store but are unable to publish Hosted Imagery Layers directly from Pro. Our users would like to be able to publish their own rasters directly to Enterprise from Pro just as they do with vector layers. They need the layers to be dynamic for analysis, so tiled layers will not work.

Thanks Kory, I check every new version of Pro to see if it works yet. Most raster data we consume is not published as true image layers and our users have been struggling with this since 2018. Since Pro can display a single raster from a map service, it would be good to know if the limitation is due to Enterprise. I can post this idea over there if needed.

Good to know that works, but it completely defeats the purpose of having map services inside of Enterprise or AGOL to pull from in Pro.

Often times map services are published with raster and vector data in the same rest end point. When you double-click on a map service in Pro, you can drill down and add the individual vector layers to a map. You are unable to do this with Raster data, forcing you to bring the entire map service into the map even if you only need one layer. This same problem exists in Enterprise and AGOL. @DavidWatkins

When sorting through massive data sets with millions of records to build map services we write a lot of definition queries. Using the built in query builder, there doesn’t appear to be a way to re-size the individual drop downs without expanding the whole window. Expanding the window just spreads everything out and you still can’t see the entire unique value list. If we could adjust the drop down widths where the red lines are, it would really help speed up our workflows. @DavidWatkins

I finally solved the problem, the field names of the coefficients were too long.

I am attempting to output the coefficient rasters from my GWR analysis. I was able to export them last week, and now trying again with a new dataset it won't output them at all. I am getting the attached error. I have tried outputting the main file to shapefile and file geodatabase and the error is consistent. I output the data directly to the C: drive to rule out any network and naming convention problems with the rasters. I have accepted the default cell size as well. I have tried with the data projected in UTM15N both NAD27 & NAD83. Basically running out of ideas on what else to check. If I run it with the "Overwrite the outputs of geoprocessing operations" checked, I get a different error even though I am outputting to a new blank workspace each time. The error is simply: ERROR 999998: Unexpected Error. Failed to execute (GeographicallyWeightedRegression). The tool runs fine if I don't try to create the rasters, it also works with a prediction dataset. All help is appreciated!

We are running 9.3.1 SP1 with Oracle. Upgrading to 10 later this year. During our initial efforts to edit the feature class through toolbox, it was versioned and the error we would receive when running the delete features tool was "Unable to edit versioned table". At that point we had the feature class unversioned which then gave us the "Insufficient Permissions" error. We were able to test running the tool as the schema owner and it was successful. Unfortunately due to organizational restraints, we won't be able to login as the schema owner to run the tool. Is there any other way around this? Currently the process being used is to load the feature class into ArcMap, start editing, select all and delete. Then load the new data into the feature class in Catalog.

I am having this same problem on an unversioned feature class. Changing the setting in the editing options worked for me in ArcMap. But what if we want to edit that feature class outside of ArcMap? If I open up catalog and make the edit connection to SDE, it won't let me run the Delete Features tool: "Insufficient permissions". Yet I am able to edit it in ArcMap. We are trying to delete the features and then append the new data in using model builder and eventually a python script.
