Drone Flying Practice Underway

Went to the flying field in Costa Mesa on Saturday, and after many sessions on the Real Flight simulator, I was perfectly comfortable on my E-Flite Apprentice S 15e within 5 minutes. This is a fantastic plane with which to learn to fly, as it has flight assists with 3 levels - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. I went right to the intermediate mode, and was flying advanced mode within ten minutes. I highly recommend time on a flight simulator, as this proved highly valuable in mastering orientation and flight controls. I will be taking my "Drone Clone" Hobbico NexStar Select EP out tomorrow, as this plane is a duplicate of the UAV and will allow me to practice flying the actual UAV without any risk of crashing months of hard work.
