I ran it now two times from the geoprocessing pane and it looks good. No errors and no mixed up outcomes. Thank you!

Haha, yes. It looks pretty complicated. Ok, thanks for the advice. I haven't tried it yet from the geoprocessing pane but I will try it now.

I am running it using the Run button in the ribbon while the Model Builder is open or using the run button in the context menu of the tools in the model. That'll be great if you take a look. What's the best way to share it with you? Attached you'll find a screenshot of the groups I am struggling with.

Thank you Melinda. That was really helpful. I've noticed some further problems... Sometimes when I run my models, the service areas or location allocation get mixed up. For instance: I have a service area calculation for subways, for bike sharing and for train stations. After running the first service area process for subways, I run the service area calculation for bike sharing but it'll extracts the informations (polygons) for the subways. This is not happening always but regularly. In this case I have to run the process so often until it calculates the right transport mode. Have you heart about this problem?

I am not iterating but ran the tool several times. Already the first service area has this werid acronym like ServiceArea1bfdgbdhf The geoprocessing options are set to overwrite.

Hi. When I want to make a Service Area Layer it will be stored with weird endings in the geodatabase. Especially when I start running a process in Model Builder the same Service Area is being stored under a different name which leads to some problems. I will attach a screenshot from my .gdp. In Model Builder I name the Service Area Layer with a chosen name, let's say SA_BusStops but it will be stored under a different name. Anybody any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!

Hi. I´d like to know if there´s a way to keep a certain distance between chosen facilities in location allocation. I use a cutoff of 1500 m. But still some chosen facilities have a distance of just a few meters to each other. Thank you.

Thank you for your answer and sorry I am writing now. I actually determined the points other way around. I first used the spatial analyst with a weighted overlay to figure out which areas are of high demand and then I selected points (feature to point for parks and parking lots) within this high demand areas. My problem now is that I want to have a certain distance between my chosen facilities when using location allocation. Do you think my approach was way to complicated with spatial analyst and then network analyst? In my opinion using weighted overlay to determine the high demand areas was more accurate, especially when playing around with the different weights. Thanks

Hi. I'd like to know if it is possible to find optimal location with the location-allocation tool in ArcGIS Pro if I don't have any candidate points? I do a research for potential locations of mobility hubs where the big hubs are located closed close to subway and train stations (I used a weighted analysis to find these locations). Now I would like to determine the small stations which should lay between those big hubs. As an influence value I want to use the population density. Thank you.

intermodality# #mobility Hi, I'd like to know if anyone could help to find the best solution in finding locations for intermodal mobility hubs (these are stations connecting micro mobility, car sharing and public transit). The mobility hubs are classified in three classes - L, M and S. The L should not be further away then 100m footpath to subway/train stations which have a high demand. The M should either be close to subway stations with lower demand (max. 300m footpath) or to bus stations. The S hubs shall be in neighbourhoods with lower density and serve as connector to the bigger hubs. I have data about the usage of the bike sharing and metro which I already have analysed and know which stations have a high demand. Further data I have: population density, cycle paths, sociodemographic data but only for the districts, POI's. In the first attempt I wanted to work with the Network Analyst using Location Allocation but I don't really know if it leads me towards the right direction. Now I think the spatial analyst could be a better solution, transfer data into raster files and do a weighted analysis. I use ArcGIS Pro 2.5 I would be pleased if somebody could help me with a suggestion of the right tool and maybe even a way of proceeding. Thank you!

Thank you for the fast request. Indeed, it is not possible to process all 200k routes in one step. I received an error. Thus, I have to figure the way via python out. Thanks so far.

Hi! I'd like to know which tool works best for connecting each origin and destination of a bikeshare trip. I have splitted the large csv file into months but they still include at least 200.000 rows each. The csv file has information about Object ID, geographical position of the origin station and destination station, and the belonging times. Using an OD cost matrix firstly runs for hours and secondly will connect all the points, right? Probably I am thinking way to complicated. My aim is to produce a flow map along the streets which shows which areas are most used by the bikeshare system. Thanks in advance!
