Hello, I am trying to use the intersect tool with the input as polylines and I want the output as points. My issue is when the points are outputted, I get 2 points which is what I want, but they act as one shape. To explain better, when I select one outputted point, the other one beside it also gets selected. It's as if they have become merged. Is there any way of separating points to be individual when there is an intersection when the polyline loops back with the line that it intersected. See attached image for example. Thanks

Hello, I am using ArcPy to export data driven pages to PNGs. I need the export to have a higher resolution then the default one when you export your map using ArcPy. This is the script that I am using mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument("CURRENT") for pageNum in range(1, mxd.dataDrivenPages.pageCount + 1): mxd.dataDrivenPages.currentPageID = pageNum pageName = str(mxd.dataDrivenPages.pageRow.New_ID) arcpy.mapping.ExportToPNG(mxd, r"C:\Users\" + pageName + ".png") del mxd I want the resolution to be 200. Where would I add this into the script?

Hello, I have a dataset with 300,000 points. My map unit is in Decimal Degrees and the display is in Meters. When I add my point layer in the point density tool the output cell size is 1.27800000000207E-05 with the neighbourhood setting with a Circle Radius of 0.000107 and the units is check off as Map. It does not let me select the Area units. The results come out as billions and hundreds of billions. Any suggestions to fix this? I assume the issue is with the cell size? Cheers Cam

I am trying to get the coordinates of each node of the polygon I create. I would like the attribute table to display the name of the polygon (ex. address) and then the coordinates of the nodes (ex. nodeA= Ax and Ay, NodeB Bx and By, NodeC Cx and Cy, NodeD Dx and Dy) is there a easy way to create all the needed polygons and then have the coordiends of the nodes displayed in the attribute table? any help would be great!! Thanks

Hi Im kinda new at this I'm just trying to get a start on a project and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions. I have to build a geodatabase prototype using a Single Line Street Network(shapefile). I also have hydrological networks and a path network to work with as well. My focus needs to be on what attributes and topological structures (or other database transaction rules) would be needed to be added or modified from the existing data. I need to determine relevant issues for the migration of this dataset to a new format. (spatial data representation and modelling??) Are there any suggestions?

Hello I am creating a multimodal route. The end result desiered is something like what google map produces. When you select 'by public transit' and include your origin and end point, the route is outputted with the walking to the stop, then the route of the bus and eventually to your destination. Is there a way to do that in ArcMap using the Netowrk Anlysis? Im pretty sure you can, I have gone through the tutorial. The data that I have include Addresses, End Point, Bus Stops, Links from stop to road, links from stop to bus route, bus route and road. Thanks

Hi I have multiple address that need routes to end at one location. I need one route going from Point A to B (B= End Location) , a route going from Point C to B, Point D to B, etc. I have used the "new route" option in network analysis, is there a way to have multiple routes under the "new route" option. There are no time variables in this dataset. It will only allow me to do one route at a time. Thanks
