Sabina, It looks like a coded value domain got configured on the SymbolRotation attribute. SymbolRotation should receive a range domain allowing only whole numbers between 0 and 359. -Carl

I believe it's there to be used when migrating data from other GIS schemas that might not yet be properly classified. The "Unknown" asset group is not intended for long-term usage. When we finished our migration into the Utility Network, I added attribute constraint rules that blocked it from being used on almost all of our feature classes.

I'm working with the Utility Network solutions for Sanitary Sewer and Water. I'm creating custom validation rules. I found only one validation rule came with the Utility Network solution for Sanitary Sewer ("Device - Check Pipe Connection"), and it uses error number 5001. Is there an Esri reference for validation rule error numbers? Is there a recommended range of numbers to use for custom validation rules?

The Monitor wasn't one of the machines that went offline, but I did not receive any notification about the others being unreachable. It looks like I hadn't configured the "Send email to:" "All" section, only the "System" section of the notifications. I have now added myself to the "All" section, so hopefully that will give me an alert if a server goes offline again.

I've configured all of our production-tier servers in ArcGIS Monitor, and have System counters being monitored for basic things like CPU/memory/disk activity. This works very well. The one thing I can't figure out how to do is to set up some kind of monitor/alert if a system has completely gone offline. We had a VMware outage over the weekend that took down 5 or more production-tier servers. If Monitor had a way of identifying that had happened and sent an alert, we could have resolved the issue before start of business today. Anyone have an idea of how to monitor for system failures?

Sort of... It seems that once a year something times out. We just have to go back into the Portal security settings and repoint it to the metadata URL from ADSF. Once it rereads that data, everything is fine.

Well, it's 14 months later and apparently this still hasn't been fixed. I'm standing up new ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 infrastructure, and can't get map services published from Pro 2.3.1 configured to use the Cityworks SOE.

Thank you Steven. This would be really useful to have, as I'm drafting our ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 upgrade/implementation plan.

We've had Portal for ArcGIS (first 10.3.1 then 10.4.1) running for almost two years. For at least the past year, it has been integrated with our ADFS system for single sign-on. Last week (although it could have happened earlier than that) we started getting this error: Unable to login using Idp Unable to validate SAML response According to our IT department, nothing has changed on our ADFS server, and our site certificates have not expired (they should be good through some time in 2019). I have not been able to find any way to resolve this problem. We are totally unable to sign in to Portal to do any management tasks. Can someone offer any suggestions on what we need to do to fix this? Thanks, -Carl

I had the same question. According to Suzanne Timani, the registered attendance exceeded capacity of room 25 A/B so they moved it to room 1A/B.
