I have created a .tpkx file in ArcGIS Pro 2.5.0 using a raster mosaic dataset. Parameters Checked ON - Package for ArcGIS Online|Bing Maps|Google Tiling format = JPEG Min Level = 0 Max Level = 19 Extent = default Compression Quality = 75 Package Type = tpkx ArcGIS Pro cranks away and a couple hours later I have my .tpkx file. Everything looks fine with the dataset, until I zoom in. At just one zoom level there are tiles that display as just white blocks. I believe it is Zoom Level 17. If I select a pixel in these white areas, it displays the correct R,G, B values - not 255,255,255 (i.e. white). So the resulting RGB values in these pixels displaying as white are actually correct, they just don't display the correct color at this one zoom level. Anyone else experiencing a similar situation? Any recommendations on how to fix it? Thank you!

I was researching something related and came across your post from last year. So I thought I would share how we have done this for a number of years in AGS. Hope it helps. To add empty map cache scale levels for greater zoom-in ability 1) ArcCatalog - Right click on tiled map service -> service properties -> caching Check on "Update cache manually" and press OK 2) ArcToolbox -> Server tools -> Caching -> Manage Map Server Cache Scales Add the new scales, press OK, and wait until completed message shows 3) Repeat step 1, but don't click OK yet Go into Caching - > Advanced Settings - Set Maximum cached scale to the new scale Press OK

I am working on a publishing a Web App to allow users to extract vector and raster data. The Extract Data task published as a Geoprocessing Service and attached to the Geoprocessing Widget does the trick just fine, however there does not seem to be an obvious method to place restrictions on the size/extent of the Area of Interest that a User can define for extraction. The only method I have seen to limit the data to be extracted is the Maximum Number of Records set on the map service itself, however I am not clear on how this impacts a raster dataset. In any case, the My question is, does anyone have any suggestions on a way to define a maximum areal extent on the Area of Interest when using the Extract Data task published as a Geoprocessing Service? The idea is to allow a User to define a AOI shape to be used for all vector/raster data available. The AOI shape either meets the criteria and the process may continue or the AOI shape does not meet the criteria and a message is returned to the User to make their AOI shape smaller. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I had the same question Kirk. I found that it can be done via AppStudio for ArcGIS if you have access to it.
