I would like the ability to export a CSV file from a filtered set of queries in the dashboard. For example, if I were to filter a dataset by "Region" using one chart and "Type" using another graph, I would like to see the results in a table and be able to export the simple table for further analysis or reporting.

Heath, did you ever find out an answer on why this was happening for you? And if so, what was your resolution? The same thing is happening in my organization with one of our users and we are trying to figure out what's going on. The situation sounds identical.

I got this error as well and scrolled through this thread looking for a resolution. It seemed that I had renamed a feature classes attachments and relationship class and it was not happy with me. After blowing it away and re-enabling attachments, I was able to publish with no errors. Also, I was publishing as a hosted feature service on ArcGIS Portal, not ArcGIS Online.

Hi, I'm wondering what presentation web app template was being used by each presenter in the UC Plenary Session? I think I remember someone mentioning it was a Story Map template? It looked like it had the ability to embed static images or interactive web maps/applications. I would be interested in using this same type of template if anyone knows.

JSkinn3, thanks for the info. I'm actually using non-AMD modules trying to rewrite it to match my application. I've tried giving it a try, but can't figure out where I'm going wrong. Any help would be appreciated!
var featureLayer = new esri.layers.FeatureLayer(<service url>,{

featurelayer.on("click", openHyperlink);
function openHyperlink(evt){

window.open(url);
} Hi Christopher, You could do the following: var featureLayer = new FeatureLayer(<service url>,{
mode: FeatureLayer.MODE_ONDEMAND,
outFields: ["*"]
});
on(featureLayer, "click", function(evt){
url = evt.graphic.attributes.<field name>;
window.open(url);
})

Trying to revive this thread and get this code sample to work. Tobias, did you have any success? Yes I did! The doIdentify functionality was key. Here's the code: function initFunctionality(map) { dojo.connect(map, "onClick", doIdentify); identifyTask = new esri.tasks.IdentifyTask("http://InputYourMapServerAddress"); identifyParams = new esri.tasks.IdentifyParameters(); identifyParams.tolerance = 8; identifyParams.returnGeometry = true; identifyParams.layerIds = [0]; identifyParams.layerOption = esri.tasks.IdentifyParameters.LAYER_OPTION_ALL; identifyParams.width = map.width; identifyParams.height = map.height; } function doIdentify(evt) { map.graphics.clear(); identifyParams.geometry = evt.mapPoint; identifyParams.mapExtent = map.extent; identifyTask.execute(identifyParams, function(idResults) {openIdentifyLinkResult(idResults, evt); }); } function openIdentifyLinkResult(results){ if(results[0]){ var idResult = results[0]; if(idResult.feature.attributes.WEB){ window.open(idResult.feature.attributes.WEB); }} }

I'm looking for any leads from anyone who has used an onclick event to directly open a hyperlink (stored as an attribute) instead of opening a popup window. I'm currently using the tooltip on hover and want to open a hyperlink on click. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tim, thanks for your reply, this is exactly what I'm looking for! I'd love to do this same thing, but without having to hard code everything. I was thinking of trying to do this but with a feature layer. This is a great start to something though, I'll play around with this and see what I can come up with. If anyone else has any leads on integrating a feature layer with this funcitonality, please let me know. Thanks!

Bumping this. And wanted to say that the hyperlinks don't have to be outside of the map. I'm more or less looking for some sort of a list view of attributes, on hover shows a pop up and on click goes to a URL. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I've searched high and low for an example of this and I can't find one anywhere. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have a web map embedded in a webpage and use hyperlinks that are outside of the web map to open up certain popup windows? Any info or code samples that would get me going in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. This is definitely useful, however, I was mainly wondering about adding a hyperlink to open a link in another tab, not embedding videos or images. Would this <a> html tag work in the same way if the <iframe> tag works? <a href="http://myhyperlink.com">My Hyperlink</a>

Hi, I'm beginning a project with the CityEngine extension and I'm trying to find out if its possible to use hyperlinks in the web scene viewer? I'm specifically wanting to embed hyperlinks of the building blueprints for each floor and maybe security camera feeds from each camera location. I reached out to ESRI about it but haven't heard anything back from them. Any help from those with a good bit of CityEngine experience is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I'm a newbie getting my feet wet with creating JavaScript Applications and it seems I know just enough to make a small amount of headway and then get stuck. On a current project I'm working on, I'm trying to create a simple embeddable map using a web map made in AGOL. I'd like both the search and home button widgets in the map as well. https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-dijit-home-button-js https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-dijit-geocoder-js I'm currently able to create a generic web map with both of these widgets, but when I try and create a web map by id, I end up getting nothing back. See my code attached, anyone have any suggestions? <!DOCTYPE html>
