Hello, I was just wondering but is there a way to track ALL changes made to a feature service over time? It would be nice to see all of the changes that were made to a layer over a period of time (i.e. all changes made over a 6 months period).

Hello, I have several feature services that I've created that I would like to give my client ownership of. The problem is that my client is a member of another organization. Is there a way to change the ownership to another AGOL user that is not within my organization?

Rebekah, Not sure if your question is already resolved but here is how I would do it. Since you already have a working KML file (check that it works in Google Earth), Then you can just use the tool "KML to Layer" to convert the KML into a feature class. Then I would just load the new feature class into ArcMap and go to Share As -> Service. Then just go through each of those settings and configure them. Make sure to uncheck Tiled Mapping under Capabilities or you will end up burning credits. Hope this helps. Chuck

Walter, It sounds like your feature templates have not been properly set. I also had this problem when using domains in my fields. For some reason ArcMap and AGOL mixes up the feature templates on features with multiple domains. It took me several days to figure out why my changes weren't being saved when I reload the page. Arcmap automatically set up the feature template for features when in an edit session. But gets confused as to what template to use with features that have multiple domains, which is why you'll have to manually set it. Assuming that it is the feature templates settings that are causing problems for you, you can easily fix it in ArcMap by starting an Edit Session. Then go to create feature -> organize template. From here it'll let you specify how you want the template to look. Save and exit when you're done. You will have to re-upload the service again to AGOL. Hope this helps. Cheers, Chuck

Hey Robert, Oh ok so what if instead of editing the code of an app exported from application builder in flash, I use notepad++ to edit it instead. And then after I'm done I would just save it back to that folder and then run that URL "http://localhost/mytestwebsite/ + the Application Name" that you mentioned. Would that work? Basically, I just want to figure out how to edit the codes of these widgets and cater them to my organizations' needs. But it seems I'm having too much trouble with the set up of the Viewer Source Code in Flash Builder. It seems like the problem is with the calling path of those widgets.

Hey Robert, Thanks for clearing that up for me, but I would like to do more than running it in Flex Viewer. I would like to to mess with the codes a little bit to get a better feel for the application. It seems Flash Builder is the only way to achieve this. "mytestwebsite" is the folder for the web server that I've set up to run locally on my machine. See below, this is the setting that I've been using for Flex Viewer

Hey Robert, I just checked and there is no config.xml file in the "arcgis-viewer-flex-3.6-src" folder but there is one in C:\xampp\htdocs\mytestwebsite\arcgis-viewer-flex-3.6-src\src. The "arcgis-viewer-flex-3.6-src" folder came from the zip file that I downloaded from GitHub labeled as Flex Viewer Source Code, I did not make any changes to it.

Hey Robert, The url that I use to bring up the site is the same as what I put my Output Folder URL as, which is: http://localhost/mytestwebsite/arcgis-viewer-flex-3.6-src I am not sure where I'd be able to find the config.xml file for my web server but I am running it on xampp and the setup is C:\xampp\htdocs\mytestwebsite\arcgis-viewer-flex-3.6-src

Hello, I was wondering if anyone know how to fix the issue of error 2032. In my case, I have the following error when I run flex viewer from flash builder. I have wasted hours on trying to figure out this issue and yet still no luck. When I run flex viewer from flash builder I am getting 9 error windows but after I closed each and everyone of them, the application would become more and more visible after every one of those error boxes were closed. I've included the error as well as a screenshot below. [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"] http response status: 404 Fault code: Server.Error.Request Fault info: HTTP request error Fault details: Error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"]. Hey Everyone, I am currently working on a project that have to do with importing shapefiles that have z values ( mine is a multipatch) into Google Earth for visual purposes. I've been using the layer to KML tool to convert my multipatch into .kmz format The problem that I kept encountering is that the shapefile floats above the ground when it is not supposed to. I notice that this was a reported bug: NIM042745 - When creating a KML file with Z-values in feet, th.. However, this was reported a long time ago. Has there been a fix or work around for this?

Hey Robert, I've encountered the same issue when I tried to upload a 3GB Raster Dataset to AGOL. The way that I resolved this was to use the Share As -> Tile Package option in ArcMap. You will be able to import in the XML tiling scheme that you created when using this option under the tiling scheme section.

Hello, As I understand it, everything that is created on the WAB ArcGIS (Developer Edition) lives on the local machine. Is there a way to share contents created by the WAB ArcGIS (Develop Edition) online? I saw that there was a way to do it back in the Beta 1 version but it seems that functionality have been removed in Beta 2 in anticipation for the AGOL update that took place 2 days ago.
