Thanks Lance. I tried this except I have a large .tif image not a mosaic layer. For that tool it requires a mosaic layer as the input. I found a different solution with the project raster tool. I just ran it thru the tool with the same original projection and the new image appeared with no white gaps when zoomed out or in. Thanks.

Greetings, I am combining several raster images into a single image via the mosaic to new raster tool. It has worked great on other attempts in the project except there is one image that has white gaps when zoomed out (zoomed in they disappear). None of the others have this problem. I made sure to input all the correct perimeters for the tool. 32 bit float is the pixel type (original source rasters) I am not sure if this is just a display bug or if there is some other underlying issue?

Thanks everyone. I ended up figuring it out with an Arcade solution using the date function Month. date field is !ALARM_DATE! new field I want only the month number is !Month_! All you need to do is use the field calculator for new field ----> !Month_! (integer) Choose Arcade, enter Month($feature.ALARM_DATE), this returns values of the month 0 - 11 in Month_ field. Use field calculator again on !Month_! with Python to add 1 to make it 1-12, -----> !Month_! + 1

I have an attribute table with an ALARM_DATE field (mm/dd/yyyy) (data type: Date) and I want to extract only the month from it to a new field. What is the simplest way to achieve this in field calculator or python 3?
