Currently, guides in dashboards are static values defined in serial chart configuration. Rather than a static value, it would be great if common statistics could be used to set the value. For example, the Average value for a series. For users with changing underlying data, these values are critical to operations, and while we can simply add indicators with these values near the chart, we're now losing precious screen real-estate to simply note a value that the chart could easily convey.

Not sure - just for clarification the actual name is _registrationContainer (I forgot the underscore).

I know it's been a few months, but wanted to provide my workaround. Load the item details page, and click Settings. Then click F12 to open the developer tools. There is a div called registrationContainer. Find it and update the class to class="clearfix" (removing hide). And voila, your registration info appears. Not sure why it occurs - it is intermittent at best. I am an admin in my org and it happens to me occasionally.

I have published a survey using the latest 3.10 version of Connect, that includes a JavaScript file in the extensions folder. Everything works great in Connect. I am opening the survey with a portalUrl parameter in a web browser (tested in MS Edge - 84.0.522.52, Chromium and Google Chome - 84.0.4147.105) Running developer tools, a 400 error code is thrown trying to access the JavaScript file, with the message "Info file for item not found". However, I can see the JavaScript file in the item content directory on the Portal server: Is this just a limitation with the Survey123 website?

Operation Dashboards continue to be a great solution, with technology improvements in every release from Esri. However, the inability to render detailed Operation Dashboards effectively on mobile devices continues to be a shortfall for dashboards. To be clear, Operation Dashboards load on mobile devices, but the display options for widgets and the overall layout are no different than the desktop views. This creates issues for many users who have target audiences that largely use mobile devices over desktop. As example, below is a dashboard rendered on a desktop machine with a 21" monitor: It's easily to make out the dashboard components, read the data and navigate. The same dashboard appears like so in a landscape view on a Samsung S10e: It would be great to have a desktop and a mobile display option when making dashboards. Similar to how Web AppBuilder and other application templates offer the ability to visualize and make adjustments based on mobile display. The alternative would be to offer a Mobile Dashboard Builder. One that is optimized to use the viewport and render as if the dashboard was only to be used on smaller screens. This could limit the number of widgets that are actively present, add additional navigation controls to view different groups or areas of the dashboard, etc.

Thanks, Shwu-jing. I am a member of the early adopter program, but neglected to read through the forums. I tracked down the ConstructingLinesAndPolygons.zip. I will attach it here for others.

I noticed that the field app specifies the globalid in the applyEdits call. Do I need to have the globalid in the form as well?

I have a survey embedded in a dashboard. The survey is using the mode=edit URL param to allow users to edit two fields of a selected feature. The survey loads correctly and as users select a new feature in the dashboard, the survey updates correctly. However, if they try to edit the values in the survey, the following error displays: Nothing appears in the console or in the network tab so I am not sure what else to troubleshoot. I tested that I could edit existing data by enabling the Inbox feature and editing the fields through the field app. This all works just fine. Is there anything else I can do to figure out why the web survey is not working?

I was looking to create a line (and eventually maybe a polyline) using coordinates from geopoints. I came across this post and thought it would be as simple as calculating the value for the geotrace like so: concat(${starty}, ' ', ${startx}, ';', ${endy}, ' ', ${endx}) But I keep getting errors, and I have tried multiple iterations. Knowing geotrace inputs are still in beta I wasn't sure if I was heading down a dead end road, but that post gave me some promise. Is there something wrong with my syntax, or as I mentioned, am I just trying to do something not yet supported?
