Hi, how shoul be the best approach to a network problem, that, before solving network, i could determine if i will go, on foot, by motocylce, by car and by truck. Each of those types of vehicles, means a diferent time to pass a intersection or node, and a different speed. foot speed - 4km/h time need to pass obstacle A - 30s car speed - 40km/h time need to pass obstacle A - 2 min truck speed - 30km/h time need to pass obstacle A - -1 min van speed - 35 km/h speed - 40km/h time need to pass obstacle A - 3 min

TimeWindowStart and TimeWindowEnd have a <Null> vallue. "If they are not set then you need to reload your stops by maping these fields when you do load locations so that the values load in." On layer properties, Network Locations, TimeWindowStart and TimeWindowEnd are load... my personal gdb

Solving, arcgis simply ignore time windows. Considers time of L1 and L2 - 2+2 min. Considers time on node A2 - 10 min. but don't wait to 9:30

In Arcgis 10 is more simple, in 9.xx, you can use varely approaches, example 1, fields of table, 1950 and 1975, build a network with 1950 colum and another with 1975 collum. Add ND 1950 or 1975 ND example 2 , use the case of bridge weights, i think you cant define a restrition to use 1950 instead 1975 and vs

I'm trying to implement time windows ou a route. The problem is a "Route" ploblem, and i have define may network with: time parameter - "minutes" Time window start - TWStart1 Time window end - TWEnd1 Filelds TWStart1 and TWEnd1 , type date In options of the problem, define to use TimeWindows, and define start time r. when solving, the solution have a start time, a end time, ignore time window on nodes or in lines, and have a violation time off zero. Example.

I think i have read anything one day about that..... Another way is considering that in every bus stop have some delay, Another is, considering time in route, example, the route that result is the route that takes less time to take, because every time you go down bus, and up to the other you should wait some time. every stop has a waiting time. If the problem is only length , then i don't know. Network analist count barriers , i don't know how, maybbe a function or vba script, have seen many doc's about that but without source code

Something like this.... So, i define time start on options, ok, done, 8.00AM for example Them solve problem, finding solution, i arrive ate node, bus stop at 9h00 am, should wait at 9h15am them go .... The problem is something like time windows, bus should not exist violation time. In simple route problem, network analist permit having violation time, something that could not exist in a bus stop line, that exist departure times not flexibles. The problemm, too, is that , i could have a rout that, i arrive at node at 9h16 anda have a 1min, of violantion time, in the solution, but i can't departure of node at 9h16 because bus departs at 9h15, and if i arrive at node at 9h16, i should wait at 10h15am. So the solution i think found is that, the time to wait on a node , is minimus time of the diference between arrive time and departure time, like: Arrive time 9h00: Time on node: min{Time1(8h15)-arrive time; Time2(9h15)-arrive time; Time3(10h15)-arrive time} min{-45min; 15min; 1h15min} min{ko; 15;75} select 15 min to time on node!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, how can I define the time of a node, by definig them : For the shape of point's, each point has, two times, and the time of each node is de minimus of - Time 1() - Arrive time() and - Time 2()- Arrive time() i'm tring to make a fileld in the shape of point, field time, but where i can find the arrive time dependecy?!?!?!?
