I also gave up scripting this part and partially automated the rest of the steps, which are very similar to yours as I am also working on redistricting in Oregon. Though I went straight from the OCVR text file to a geodatabase table using Table To Table and a schema.ini file to handle the field data types. The Table to Table tool responds to the data types designated in this file. My version of Pro is 2.9 and I am able to export a tab-delaminated file in my model. Just have to include .tab in the output file name. I still have to change that file to a .txt file and load it into Excel to remove the OID. I tried to respond to your gis_info_request email directly but it was undelivered. If you would like to communicate directly my email is caiton@co.marion.or.us. Thanks, Chelsey

Were you able to come up with a solution that tied into your model, or did Josh's pandas to csv suggestion work for you? I am loading tab delaminated text files into another program and have also been using Excel to remove the OID but would like to include this in my model. Based upon your field names, I believe we are both working with the same program. Thanks, Chelsey

Have you had any resolution on this issue? I am experiencing the exact same issue when using callbacks from S123. This is happening when I callback to Collector or Field Maps. I am using the same URL parameters and structure as you. This issue has arisen recently, I have been using this callback structure in Collector for the last year with no issues. I have tested both link structures below: The second newer structure fails less often and works better with IOS devices but still fails frequently. callback=arcgis-fieldmaps://?itemID=<itemid> callback=https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app

Thank you for providing the specific URL parameters. Though it doesn't automatically open the survey, if you refresh the inbox it will provide the correct survey as the only item to select in the inbox. Which is a couple more user actions than necessary, but does get the job done. I had been attempting to use the following, which does work but the survey has to already be in the inbox. When you refresh the inbox it loads all the surveys, or just those in the map extent depending upon how you load them. (Lots of extra steps to do this) So, while still not perfect, it is slightly better than what I had. arcgis-survey123://?itemID=<item ID>&action=edit&folder=inbox&update=true&filter=globalId:{globalId} Does anyone know how this workflow would work Offline, if the survey is not already loaded to the inbox? Also, wondering if anyone has successfully gotten callbacks to work when finished editing an existing record. Thanks, Chelsey

Update note: I have switched to Field Maps, the above arcade expression works correctly on the GlobalId, therefore I no longer am using the ObjectId and can avoid the issue outlined above.

Hi James, thank you for the reply. Yes, the objectid of the repeat is also discovered. From my example above, the first result item has an objectid of 47, the second item has some other objectid but one of the related records in the repeat has an objectid of 47. Regarding Collector, when I display the expression as text in the popup, the result is just blank. It doesn't show up.

With the release of the Survey123 3.10 field app, it is now possible to open and edit an existing survey from Collector (or other field app) using the URL parameters. However, the survey needs to be in the inbox, it will not find the survey if it is in the sent box, so I have disabled the sent box. I have successfully an existing record by using the objectid. This works with the exception of one situation, when the same objectid exists in the repeat table Survey123 will display both parent records as a result of the search. I would rather use the GlobalID in my url, however the arcade expression I used only works for removing the brackets in the web map and not Collector. Survey123 inbox search will not find the survey with the globalid brackets. arcgis-survey123://?itemID=<itemID>&action=edit&folder=inbox&update=true&filter=objectid:{objectid} Two results for my record search, the top one is correct. The following arcade expression removes the globalid brackets in the web map, but not Collector. I believe it has to do with the globalid field type as I have used this expression with a string field successfully. var str = Text($feature.globalid); str = Replace(str, '{', ''); str = Replace(str, '}', ''); return str; Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Has there been any development on this issue? I too need to have a mix of IDs that are text and numbers, everything needs to be a string. The data gets stored with ".0" after the number.

According to Repeat Always Creating Record, having pulldata and calculated fields in the repeat will create a blank record, is this still expected behavior? I have tried the minimal appearance, as an attempt to avoid this empty record creation. I would prefer to have the option of pages for my repeats, is it possible to do field-list and minimal together?

No, I did not get this to work. I receive no error messages when publishing or running the tool with the GP widget in WAB. It does take the features selected by the Select widget and the GP widget. However, no output is added to an existing feature service. It makes me wonder if the edits are getting saved.

Thank you so much for spending the time assisting me! I was able to get it to work based upon your above script. I believe two things in combination were happening. My original script used $datastore in the first line, which now I know represents a collection of layers in the same feature service. My layers are in different feature services, so I needed to use $map. Also, when I had tried variations of the layer name, which I also didn't have exactly correct, I was still using $datastore, which gives you the same error message as when you have just the layer name incorrect, using $map. (I thought FeatureSetByName would use the layer name given to the service rather than the name given to it in the web map. If you rename the layer in the map, this breaks the expression).

I require special permission to share the whole dataset, so I have provided a trimmed down version of the data. For Ms_points2, I have removed all but 5 features, the schema remains the same. For the table, I have kept the same 5 related records and removed the majority of the fields. A little more background, appraisers in the field will be using an app to edit the location of the points. The table service will be overwritten weekly from an export from the assessor's office database. Therefore, the point layer is editable and the table is not. It feels like the expression isn't actually connecting to the table service. Removed links to test data: Deleted feature services
