Thanks Doug. I did some reading and found the solution. You can use a constraint with the expression .!${Field} to check the value doesn't get selected again from the list. Remember to add a constrain message to yell back at them with the correct question in case you have a lot of questions in your survey. Will have to try your expression.

Lets say i have five items in my choice list , ABCDE. In my first question i have a select one question form the list. Lets select A. In question 2, i also have a select one question form the same list but now i want to find which item is closest to the selected item A, in question 1. How do i filter out item A from the choice list in question 2 so that it doesn't get selected again such that A is not closest to A?

Hi James Thanks for your feedback. Does this mean i can only display the seconds in multiples of 60 seconds ? What i needed was to be able to read the seconds in between the 1 minute resolution as you say directly from the system time and have it displayed. I this possible with the app? Thanks

Am looking to do time calculations in survey123. i have a form where am collecting behavior observation data on elephants. One piece of data is Out of View which needs to be displayed as a sum of total seconds when an elephant was out of view. Am having trouble figuring out how to display the time in seconds between observations. I am only able to display seconds in multiples of 60. ie 60, 120, 180 etc. How do you format the date time to display all seconds e.g 64, 118 etc and not in multiples of 60 seconds. It would have been great to have the capabilities of a stopwatch/ timer available in the survey from.

I would love to see this functionality implemented into Survey 123. Similar to what we have in Collector. Basically have a layer that records the tracks or movements of the collector while in the field. location tracking
