I couldn't find it in the documentation, but I took a wild guess and it is DETraceNetwork.

I'm creating a custom python toolbox that need to accept an ArcGIS Pro Trace Network as a parameter. Does anyone know the data type I would specify for this parameter. There are DEGeometricNetwork for geometric networks and DEUtilityNetwork for utility networks, but I can't seem to find any type for Trace Network.

I would vote for earlier release as well, only because the Draw widget looks fantastic and I'm eager to see it. Thanks for all your work!

Is there not more to it than just importing the component? How to you get the css to function correctly. I tried adding import '@progress/kendo-theme-default/dist/all.css'; to my widget but I get a bunch of errors in the console

For anybody else who has this problem, have someone with administration privileges delete any custom widgets from [install directory]\client\dist\widgets folder and then restart the client npm script.

Is it possible to configure the Attribute table to display date fields as MM/DD/YYYY and to have the text of field display as a hyperlink? I found the format property in the configuration file, but I can't find any documentation on it. At Attribute Table—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers I found an example for formatting a decimal number, but that is about it. "format": { "places": 2, "digitSeparator": true }

I'm trying to use visual studio code to debug my custom web app builder widget. I have set up my dev environment out site of the install directory of C:\WebAppBuilderForArcGIS. Then I use the scaffolding created by esri-appbuilder-js generator to run grunt and copy my files into the appropriate directories in WebAppBuilderForArcGIS. My question is how can I now use Visual Studio Code to step through and debug my code? If I use the launch config below then the application page doesn't fully load. The weird thing is that the moment I detach the visual studio code debugger then it finishes loading. { "type": "chrome", "request": "launch", "name": "Launch Chrome against localhost", "url": "https://kipawa:3344/webappbuilder/apps/2/", "webRoot": "${workspaceFolder}" } If I try to attach the Visual studio code to a running instance of the app in Chrome with the launch config below, then my break points are never hit. { "type": "chrome", "request": "attach", "name": "Attach to Chrome", "port": 9222, "webRoot": "${workspaceFolder}" },

I was wondering if it is possible to generate a token for a Federated ArcGIS Server through a webadaptor . What I would like is to do is configure a webadaptor for ArcGIS Server that is public facing to utilized secured webservices and hide portal. When I look at the calls being made when some one connects to a secured service the token is being generate by making direct calls to the portal https://[pri]:7443/arcgis/sharing/rest/generateToken ,which I want to avoid directly accessing it.

In case anybody else comes across a similar problem, this is what I ended up doing: var requestHandle = esriRequest({ url: baseURL, content: content, handleAs: 'arraybuffer', callbackParamName: 'callback' }); requestHandle.then( function (response) { var file = new Blob([response], { type: 'application/pdf' }); //IE work around if (window.navigator && window.navigator.msSaveOrOpenBlob) { window.navigator.msSaveOrOpenBlob(file, 'ConsumptionReport.pdf'); } else { var fileURL = URL.createObjectURL(file); //window.open(fileURL); // create an anchor and click on it. var ancorTag = document.createElement('a'); ancorTag.href = fileURL; ancorTag.target = '_blank'; ancorTag.download = 'ConsumptionReport.pdf'; document.body.appendChild(ancorTag); ancorTag.click(); document.body.removeChild(ancorTag); } }, function (error) { var s = error; }

I have an SOE that creates a pdf and streams it back in the response and it works great. Now how can I call it using dojo or the esriRequest object to call the SOE and display the resulting pdf in a new window? I see the esriRequest has a handleAs that can be set to document, but I fail to see how it is implemented. I have seen examples of using dojo.io.iframe, but I prefer not to use a deprecated library. var downloadPdfIframeName = "downloadPdfIframe"; var iframe = dojo.io.iframe.create(downloadPdfIframeName); dojo.io.iframe.setSrc(iframe, url, true); I would be nice if I could just use straight javascript and do something like window.open(encodeURIComponent(url)), but the url would be too long after I add all the parameters to the querystring and it would have to be a post request. Any help piecing it together would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm trying to write a custom geoprocessing function tool in ArcObjects that I can then expose as a service on ArcServer. The output parameter will be a zip file that contains a filegeodatabase. I have marked the parameter as a required and attempted to set some of the default properties of the GPDataFile class, but when I run my try task, no matter what I type into the "Output Export File" input box I get a message saying that it is required. Does anybody have any samples on how to use and set the properties of the GPDataFile class to be used as an output parameter. IGPDataFile gRDL = new GPDataFileClass(); gRDL.DataType = "zip"; gRDL.DatasetName = "TableName"; IGPParameterEdit3 inputParameter = new GPParameterClass(); inputParameter.DataType = new GPDataFileTypeClass(); // Default Value object inputParameter.Value = gRDL as IGPValue; // Set Parameter properties inputParameter.Direction = esriGPParameterDirection.esriGPParameterDirectionOutput; inputParameter.DisplayName = "Output Export File"; inputParameter.Name = "out_export_file"; inputParameter.ParameterType = esriGPParameterType.esriGPParameterTypeRequired; return inputParameter; Thanks, Brett Message was edited by: Brett Lawson
It appears that using the DEFileTypeClass works, but now I'm curious as to what the difference between that class and the GPDataFileTypeClass
