Select all polygons or polylines you want to split. Click once outside at the start/before the first line/polygon Click once outside at the end to create a vertex in the split line. right-mouse-click 'finish' or you can double-click left mouse (if you have enabled double-click as a shortcut for the finish button) It's slightly different behaviour to ArcMap as I think the double-click will add a vertice AND finish it for the split. ArcGIS Pro will require a vertex placed first. I was getting this error all the time when I knew that the line for splitting was past what I wanted to split. The error tells you that the last point you place a vertex is still inside the polygon. I hope this helps.

Seems I can get it to work properly if the Annotation FC is in a file geodatabase and not the esri geodatabase. I think this is a version issue between enterprise 10.61 and 2.3.0 pro. I expect it will work as it should when we are on 10.71

Hi, Thanks for your question. I am aware of those limitations. It was originally created in ArcMap but I have already upgraded it. I have no trouble field-calc-wise with other fields. I can change my annotation symbols in the classes etc. It just does not recognise a field-calc into a new class.

I was always able to select rows of annotation objects in the attribute table or via the map in ArcMap and then use the field calculator to calculate them to be a different class based on their AnnotationClassID e.g. AnnotationClassID = 2 for 'Labels', 3 for 'Signage' etc. I cannot seem to do this in ArcGIS Pro even though the online help suggests that you can. It just puts the ClassID value as a number, not recognising it as the coded domain value and then it's only visible when the default class is turned on. It seems that bulk calculations just don't work. Using ArcGIS Pro 2.3 Any help would be appreciated. Update: I know that I can achieve the same result by selecting the objects in the table and then select the class from the drop-down in the Attribute Manager.

Great stuff. Thanks for letting us know what's coming up. We only usually hear snippets here and there from what esri people we are dealing with. Looking forward to a time when coloured hatching, layer groupings, and split line labelling are available.

the radio button was missing in my original post. This setting is not allowing the editors to edit their own features. In fact, they can't edit anything. Even though hosted layer editor tracking is on an enabling them to see only their edits.

Thanks Greg, yes. that's all on. I already stated that in my post All editing options are enabled in the hosted layer Feature edit tracking is enabled on the hosted parent layer and this has been enabled on the hosted view. It is working on seeing 'only' their edited objects but it is not working when choosing to edit 'only' their objects. I have to switch to edit 'all features' for the users to be able to edit. For the moment, they can edit the features they have created using the edit all features option and view only their features option in the hosted view. Thanks.

I have a hosted view for use in collector that is set to allow field users to view and edit only their collected points. Feature edit tracking is enabled on the hosted parent layer and this has been enabled on the hosted view. What features can editors see? Editors can see all features Editors can only see their own features (requires tracking) This works ok. Editors can only see their own features What features can editors edit? Editors can edit all features Editors can only edit their own features (requires tracking) When this is set above, users are unable to edit any records. Even as admin level I cannot edit them. Switching to editors can edit all features allows editing again but the only thing stopping them editing other people's data is the fact that they can only see their own features. Editors can edit all features Editors can only edit their own features (requires tracking) Has anyone else experienced this?
