It's been a while, but does anyone know of a fix for this? I'm trying to use a selection symbol that does not block the feature symbol. Thanks.

I’m editing an AGOL-hosted related table in Collector 10.3.2 and the required fields seem to work in Android but not in iOS. One is a date field (pump date), one is a short integer (pump volume). Although I set the default values of both to “” in the definition template, the pump date defaults to null and the pump volume defaults to 0 in iOS, but neither are required. Do you know how I can require them in iOS or is this a bug? Thanks, Ben

I have a arcgis-hosted feature layer that I'd like public users to query based on a unique value and then see the results in a tabular view. From there, they would edit a field (w/ coded value domain). Ideally, the screen could be split with a map for users to have the option to zoom to selected table record if they wish. I spent a bit of time looking at samples and the api reference, but I'm scratching my head a bit on best way to implement this. Could the Feature Table widget (though beta) be an approach? Does anyone have advice on how this can be achieved? Thanks much, Ben

I'd like to see an improved measure widget as well, with more options to configure measurement text font, line/area measurement symbology, and length/area units, etc. We've been using http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=36a80475e5d740279854398d3f7b6d01 for our flex apps which allows us to see measurements on the line segments that we draw rather than in the measurement tool dialog. We use projected data so that's also a consideration in the development of measure widget.

Does anyone know if there's a way to label feature layers that are called through the arcgisUtils.CreateMap method? Perhaps there's a way to get at the operational layers in the webmap to build label layers without having to use map.addLayer for each feature layer I wish to label? My test page seems overkill in that it's calling the same layer through both the CreateMap and through map.addLayer. I'd like to leverage all the settings saved within my webmap, and guess I'm looking for the most efficient way of creating the labels. Thanks, Ben <!DOCTYPE html>

Looks like it's based on this app: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=23cc5b90b78d45e0bd51ede193328568 (10.2) There are also links to 10 & 10.1

I downloaded the Parcel Viewer template and can't seem to get it running as is. http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=85ec8f162e654968a3740740075b34c6. It's residing on a test web server, and I'm pointing the browser to http://MyServerName/parcel_viewer/s2.html. I'm just seeing the progress animation with a blank screen. I made no customizations to the code yet. Wondering if I missed something simple or if the out-of-the-box is not working? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ben

I'm using the Basic Viewer web mapping application template with a lot of layers in the layers list. Unfortunately, the layers list is getting cut off at the bottom of the screen and there's no scroll bar to allow users to access the layers at the bottom. I was figuring that a scroll bar would exist within the template. Is there a way to add a scroll bar? I'm ok with downloading the template customizing if need be. Here's the screenshot of the results page. I did modify the LocateWidge.xml to appear more like a single line geocode service by setting the visibility of the zone field to false. I also bumped down the minscore. I did try commenting out the zone field line in the xml below and re-ran, but it didn't seem to change anything. <?xml version="1.0" ?> <configuration label="World Geocoding"> <!--<locator>http://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/GeocodeServer</locator>--> <locator>http://dtarcgis10/arcgis/rest/services/Geocodeservices/Chesco_Address/GeocodeServer</locator> <minscore>66</minscore> <fields> <field name="Zone" alias="Muni Code" visible="false"/> </fields> </configuration>

Robert, 1. Using Flex v3.2 2. The geocode service url is not public but attached is a screen shot. For what it's worth, it's a parcel locator that uses a relationship to our parcel address table. 3. Using Server 10.0 Thanks, Ben

Robert, Thanks for the detailed response. I added the code you shared and I think I'm close but I'm hitting a snag somewhere. The locator still functions, though it's still displaying the municipal code. When I put a breakpoint at function replaceMuniCodes(addStr:String):String, the String returns something like "String = Object(@52b7a1)". Not sure if that's where the issue is, but I was thinking it would show something like "String = 601 Westtown Rd, 52". Also, when I step through, I get a "Source not found" related to the get address class (com.esri.ags.tasks.supportClasses::AddressCandidate/get address). Could that be the culprit? I'm somewhat new to working in this environment, so not really sure how to resolve. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. Ben
