Hi What I understood from your response is that to create an overlay graphic at the location of the Geometry(i.e. MapPoint) and after displaying that removing the graphic from MapView, right? In ArcObjects there is a snippet that can Flash Geometry on the display. Thanks

How to get the coordinate(s) of intersection of two polylines in ArcGIS Pro SDK? In ArcObjects I can use ITopologicalOperator5 interface to create the points(intersect member). Is there anything like that in ArcGIS pro SDK?

Hi You are absolutely right. I added feature classes to both ArcMap projects. That was the problem. Thank you very much for your help. Behroz

Just for testing, I added some feature classes to a file Geodatabase, without creating any datasets. The second user cannot go to editing mode as long as the first user is in editing mode on the File Geodatabase. The second user can edit something else that is not in File Geodatabase. When the first user stop editing, then the second user can go to the editing mode for the File Geodatabase. Thanks

Hello, I see in ESRI Website the followings: "A File Geodatabase Can have more than one concurrent editor (provided they are editing in different tables, feature classes, or feature datasets" (http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/geodatabase/single-user-geodatabase.html) ArcView 10 Single Use License has been installed on the computers. I have created a File Geodatabase, inside it two Feature Datasets, and imported a feature class in each dataset. It seems the whole File Geodatabase is locked when one user edit a Feature Class in the File Geodatabase. The other user can open feature classes for viewing but cannot go to the editing mode to edit other features of the File Geodatabase. Is there anything I can do, to have more than one concurrent editor(in different feature classes) in a File Geodatabase? Thanks for your response,

Hello, we have lots of rectified images in many separate folders and sub-folders. The layers in ArcMap-Arcview (desktop single use) linked to the images. When I use ArcGIS 10(recently switched from 9.3 to 10 ) without any service pack, I can turn on and off layers very fast. When I install service pack 3(or service pack 1), then it becomes extremely slow to turn some layers on and off. The only way I could solve the problem was to uninstall service pack. My computer is a fast computer(Dell T7500, Xeon X5680 3.33GHz, 12GB ram). Any idea what the problem is? Thank you very much for your help. Behroz
