Hi @Kate447, I talked about how we can do this in my answer here - How to import GIS data into Power BI You can use the Location field well to display geospatial data in ArcGIS Power BI, however it requires a little bit of preparation beforehand - ArcGIS Power BI Location Types What is the locational data from your quantitative data? Perhaps you could show a screenshot of your attribute table & how it's displayed in ArcGIS Desktop? Choropleth maps can be really quickly set up if your polygons have a locational attribute such as County or Suburb. Regards, Ben

Hi @AndresEcheverri If your Enterprise is unavailable to the internet then you will be unable to use it to sign in to ArcGIS Maps for Power BI. "ArcGIS for Power BI supports versions 10.7.1 and later of ArcGIS Enterprise in an online environment only. ArcGIS for Power BI does not operate in a disconnected environment." - https://doc.arcgis.com/en/power-bi/get-started/supported-env.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_2E77582CD0A54DFE911C02B7945B1EE4

I’m working with a client using the ArcGIS Experience Builder, and they were very interested in using the functionality to select a Dynamic Image source and choose the Attachment or Symbol to populate the image widget with feature layer attachments or web map feature symbols. This works well for them when using the ArcGIS Experience Builder through ArcGIS Online, but when using the Experience Builder in Portal for ArcGIS 10.8.1 there doesn’t seem to be an option to choose Attachment or Symbol. Is this a limitation to the current release of the Portal for ArcGIS release of Experience Builder?

Hi @Yshg1990 , As mentioned by Jon, you cannot input a Shapefile into ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI. If your Shapefile has a Location attribute however, you could convert the .dbf component of the Shapefile into a .csv file which can be imported into ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI and display it using that Location attribute. You can view the documentation here: Add data to the map Location types I have done an example below, where my Shapefile had the address of the points split into a few different fields. I needed to create a new column with these attributes combined in order to display the location. You can do that too by following this article - Create a separate Location column in your data Open MS Excel Open the .dbf file of your Shapefile. You might need to select "All Files" from the file explorer. You can then save the file as a .csv Open PowerBI Desktop, then add the ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI Visualization and sign in with your account. From the Get data tool, connect to Text/CSV then navigate to your new .csv file and load the data. Drag your location column (or create your own) into the Location field Voilà! Your Shapefile data is now displayed in ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI. This method works well with point address data, or polygon data that is using locations such as zip codes, postcodes or administrative boundaries.

Hi @WengNg2 at this stage there is no ArcPy function to sign in to ArcGIS Online with an Enterprise Login, however I recommend submitting that as an ArcGIS Idea - https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/idb-p/arcgis-pro-ideas

Hi @CacheDeupree Welcome to GeoNet. A great resource for getting started with ArcGIS is the Esri Academy. There are hundreds of hours of courses available for free, and even more if you have a current ArcGIS subscription. I'd recommend using the filters to see the Getting Started courses available. Hi @RossCBrewer I'd also recommend what Robert has suggested by using the ModelBuilder. If you haven't built a model before you can follow this great tutorial which shows you how to build a geoprocessing model to automate a workflow. Make a geoprocessing model - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/make-a-geoprocessing-model.htm Schedule a model - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/analysis/geoprocessing/modelbuilder/scheduling-a-model-run.htm Schedule geoprocessing tools - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/analysis/geoprocessing/basics/schedule-geoprocessing-tools.htm

Hi @Anonymous User ArcGIS Online went through some system maintenance last night. There were a few disruptions during that time (5pm and midnight Pacific Time). If you are still unable to add them to ArcGIS Pro then I'd recommend reaching out to Technical Support because any issues possibly related to the update will need to be investigated. https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support

Hi @DonRodgers, Do your Sewer Laterals intersect with your parcels? If so you have the option of a Spatial Join where you can use one of the several match options (Best match method is probably 'Within', but 'Have their center in' might also be good if your lateral midpoints are inside the parcel). Spatial Join for Water Laterals and Parcels. Output will contain attributes from both feature classes In the field map of Join Features you can specify which attributes to put into the output feature class, in this case you might select for only the Address attributes from the Parcels features. You can read .dbf files with programs such as MS Excel. You should not attempt to edit the file outside of ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro however because it can corrupt the data. The supported method of viewing DBF data is in ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro by loading the Shapefile into your map and then Right clicking on the layer in your Table of Contents and then opening the Attribute Table. To open the DBF file in MS Excel, Go to Open > Navigate to where the DBF file is then select open. You will need to make sure the All Files or DBF Files file filter is on however.
