Snap Tips not displaying when moving a shared node using the topology edit tool on the topology toolbar. It does not show the Snap Tip Layer Name and Type when moving the shared node, but does show the tip when moving a vertice. When using the editor toolbar and moving a vertice or shared node it does show the snap tip on what layer it is snapping too. This is the case with polygons and lines, and a point layer it does not work either. Tried snapping to all different layers and still nothing. We have removed the topology and recreated and still does not show. We have used a shapefile, file geodatabase and SQL Server geodatabse, and on multiple computers and different users. So, the main questions is why does the show snap tip not show when using the topology edit tool (shared node)? We are using ArcMap 10 sp2.

I have tried copying one SID file into a seperate folder without the SDW (header file) and it did not work and then recreated the SDW and it still did not work. I recreated the SID into a generation 3 format and it worked fine. I know in the past sometimes the build or statistics were an issue and had to redo them, but that did not work either. ESRI is coming to our office tomorrow, so maybe the can figure it out, if not, they can take it back to their office and see if there is a solution. Looking more into the different sid files, there is not much different. I think the solution is going to be is recreate them through GeoExpress.

We have a bunch a MrSID files and all of them work except for our 2000 raster dataset in ArcGIS 10 (ArcInfo License). All the other raster datasets we have work fine, and the 2000 one worked fine in 9.3.1. Wondering if it is because when we created the 2000 SID files there are an older MrSID generation file and ArcGIS 10 does not support that anymore or is this a bug and needs to be fixed so you can read any generation of MrSID files? Found the forum topic on ECW because had that issue too and found the work around in REGEDIT, which fixed the ECW problem with older ECW files, but did not fix the SID. Any help on this would be appreciated.
