The graphics layer is what I was missing. I figured it was something simple. Thanks for your help!

Thanks again. I have tried this and it will return the individual values in the array, however, I have not been able to associate them with the buffered graphics. For example, how would I label each buffer with these values once they are generated and added to the map?

Thanks for your response. This method returns the entire params.distance array. What I am trying to do is get the distance of each buffer generated from this array.

Can someone point me in the right direction of how to return the distances of each individual buffer when it is created using more than one distance in the params.distances parameter. I am currently generating multiple buffers at the same time from an input array specifying the distances. After these buffers are generated, I am having a hard time returning the individual distances of the buffers. I have tried returning them from the params array for each graphic by the following: 1) alert(params.distances[0]); 2) for(var i=0; i<paramsBuffer.distances.length); i++){ alert(params.distances); }; Neither of these will properly return the distance of the individual resulting buffer graphics. An example of what I am trying to do is return the distances of the two buffers generated in this example: ArcGIS API for JavaScript Sandbox . Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a popupTemplate with an embedded HTML table. I also have a dojo grid that I use to select and zoom to features. The HTML table has to be accessed by the JavaScript in order to toggle the visibility of certain rows. When selecting a feature from the grid, I am getting the error "dojo.byId(...) is null" from my function that toggles the table and the popup does not display for the selected feature. It seems that the dom elements for the table are not initially being created and cannot be accessed until I click on a feature on the map. After clicking on a feature, the popup works fine from the grid. What could possible be causing this and Is there any way to access the dom elements in the popup before a feature on the map is clicked? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your help. I have decided to not use the proxy and am beginning to think that it is something in ArcGIS Server that will need reconfiguring.

I am using ArcGIS Server 10.2. I found something here: ArcGIS Javascript API with Windows Authentication - Geographic Information Systems Stack Exchange which states that the proxy will cause issues when determining who makes the edits. Since the application will be internal only, I have decided not to use the proxy. Without the proxy, the editor field is populated with Esri_Anonymous. I need this to display the domain name of the user who makes the edits.

Thanks for your response. I have already built a custom application using the API and do not want to go through ArcGIS Online. The service will be secured in a protected rest services folder and will be accessed in the application by a proxy page. Our ArcGIS Server IS using Windows domain as the identity store. Do you have any more suggestions?

I have an internal web application that allows users to edit an SDE layer. I have editor tracking enabled on the layer and would like for the editor field to be populated by the editor's organization domain name. What is the best way of going about this? Would any configuration need to be done in Server Manager? Thanks in advance.

I would like to off center my polygon features the same way. Currently I am using : map.setExtent(polygonFeatureLayer.geometry.getExtent().expand(1.1)); Would I simply do the same for the x coordinate for the polygon and recalculate the extent?

I am trying to determine the best way to off center a zoom based on browser window size. I have a div container nested within my map div on the right side which takes up 20% of the screen. I would like to off center the map.centerAt() function 20% to the left to compensate for this taken space. Does anyone have an idea on the best way of going about this? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, works great. Out of curiosity, what does your myGraphicsLayer variable refer to? Is it a subset of your layerGraphic feature layer?

I have a Dojo grid that zooms to a selected point on the map when an ObjectId cell in the grid is clicked on. I would like to change this to allow the zoom when the entire row or another attribute such as "Name" is clicked on. The problem is that the ObjectId is my only unique identifier and I am getting no results when modifying and clicking on another field. I have attached a text file that shows the code that I used to generate the grid and also the function that does the querying. Could someone please provide some guidance on what I am missing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
