I appreciate the feedback. I do have some Udemy python classes purchased, just waiting for some down time to dig in. What is strange is that when i first set up the model it worked without encountering a lock but then one day it just broke. I will have to look into controlling locks via your suggestion. Thanks again for the insight.

Thanks for the response. Yes this is an Enterprise GDB/branch versioned. I also run this model (use to at least) from an empty instance of pro with no feature classes loaded. I do have the enterprise actively connected though. I dont have a great working knowledge of python, i can open existing code and monkey with it a bit to fit my connections/parameters but it still is pretty foreign to me. Do you see any issues with exporting the model builder to a python script and running it from there? Ultimately i would like to set up a windows task scheduler.

@RandyCasey When we first started rebuilding/analyzing data sets i set up a little model builder and it worked successfully. After some point the model threw the "cannot acquire a lock" error and stopped working. We are able to run the GP tool without an issue and we have recreated the model but still run into the error. Any idea what is happening here?

Working in the error inspector within Parcel Fabric, we have a user whose capability to Fix topological errors using the Fix tool is not available while another user has the capability. One has the "Create Feature" option and the other does not? We have tried replacing the users configuration file with a new one but that did not work. Suggestions?

I ran the tool on 2 columns, parcel and street number. 50k+ records were removed out of the 250k. I ran it again and it was complete in under a minute. Not sure what happened yesterday...

I did not realize the Delete Identical tool would parse out a selection of a selection of sorts. It worked perfectly. It did take about 6 hours to complete on (250k records) but it worked! Thank You

I am merging two address features together and associating them with a parcel number. These address layers overlap geographically in some areas and i only need one record per unique address. I need to remove the duplicates, however there are valid duplicate parcel numbers with multiple addresses (ex apartments or condominiums). So i need to retain duplicate parcel records only if they contain unique address fields. In the picture ive provided an example of having 3 parcel records (KeyNum) but only 2 unique street numbers (StreetNum). Ive tried using a select by attributes to isolate the duplicate KeyNum and then creating a selection from that selection of duplicate StreetNum but as you can expect, any duplicate StreetNum is selected regardless if they have an associated duplicate KeyNum. I need to add a qualifier in the SQL code. Here is what i have so far... [KeyNum] In (SELECT [KeyNum] FROM [Export_Output] GROUP BY [KeyNum] HAVING Count(*)>1 ) [StreetNum] In (SELECT [StreetNum] FROM [Export_Output] GROUP BY [StreetNum] HAVING Count(*)>1 )

Exactly. The idea was to get a representative view of the entire property vs just a cluster of points from roughly the same location. The way this is set up is extremely helpful and i cant thank you enough. cheers

Yikes, how did i miss that. It works! This is perfect. Im assuming i could change the frequency of the selection by adjusting line 6 "group size"

I was able to get it to the code run successfully and create the feature layer output, however the new feature layer (fl) is just a copy of the original feature class. 8527 records input, 8527 records output.

Bear with me as i dont have a good working understanding of Python. for line 5 my path looks like this... fc = ("x:\\Street_Level_Photography\\Street_Level_Photography.gdb\\Export_Output") and im getting the following: Error 000732: Input Features: Dataset x:/Street_Level_Photography/Street_Level_Photography.gdb/Export_Output does not exist or is not supported Im guessing there is a syntax error. Im not sure if this makes a difference but the data is not stored locally, should i use the server name rather than the drive name? Server name would be gemini, my drive name is x

Hopefully this help to provide some context. Im working with parcel data and gps tagged photos. After a spatial join the photo points are associated with a parcel or rather an "Account_Nu". Below is an example of a typical scenario where one parcel may grab 20 points and the adjacent parcel grabs 3 or 4 based upon the length of existing road frontage. 3 or 4 pictures per parcel is desirable but anything over 10 is a bit excessive. I can parse these points down by running the delete identical tool but im limited to about a 10 ft buffer. The reason being is some parcels only have 30 or 40 ft of road frontage and im trying to at least get a couple points per parcel, any larger buffer and i could exclude entire parcels all together. The goal is to indiscriminately delete every other (or every 2 out of 3) point to still provide coverage but keep it trimmed as best as possible. Below is a snapshot of the table, the "Account_Nu" being the primary field used to clean up the data. As you can see, multiple Account_Nu's are associated with many JPGs.
