I currently have some text that lists the names of the layers found in the Table of Contents (TOC) of my map. When I update this map with newer versions of some of the layers I then have to manually change the names of the layers in this text to the newer versions' names. For example, I might have a layer called Optic_Fiber_20140211 and in a few days I might receive a newer version called Optic_Fiber_20140215 ... I would then add the new version of the layer to my map, delete the old version of the layer from my map, and then manually edit the text to reflect that change. It would be nice to have dynamic text that just lists the names of all of the layers in the TOC and then when I remove old layers and add new layers the text is automatically updated. Make sense? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi guys, So does that inetpub\wwwroot\flexviewers folder exist? Might want to change the IP address to the name of your machine. Can you post a screenshot of your IIS Manager directory? Yes, the folder does exist (see screenshot). I tried http://localhost/flexviewers/ , but had no luck. IIS Manager ... ummm, I do not think I have IIS Manager (I looked where it would be for Windows 7). I appreciate your patience, I am a student and this is quite new for me. Any additional suggestions? Thanks!

I am new to ArcObjects, but I have managed to find and slightly modify some code that works perfectly for a task that I have ... with the exception that it is very, very slow (several minutes to run). The data I am using are not large, so I am guessing there is something within the code that is not quite maximized for speed. Attached is the code ... essentially it finds the Maximum Z value from a DEM layer using zonal stats with the zones being defined by ~150 polygons from a separate layer and then populates a field in that same polygon layer with those Z values. I am interested in learning the reason for the speed issue (to improve my skills) as much as I am interested in changing the code so any advice, explanations, and/or suggestions much appreciated. Thanks.

I have some code where I want to use an InputBox to allow the user to specify the value used in a whereclause, but after 4 hours of searching I cannot figure out the proper syntax. Obviously I am a beginner. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! My Inputbox code would be similar to the following: Dim strArea As String strArea = InputBox("Area greater than", "Area", "5000") Dim strDistance As String strDistance = InputBox("Distance greater than", "Distance", "50") And this would be my whereclause: Dim pQueryFilter As IQueryFilter pQueryFilter = New QueryFilter pQueryFilter.WhereClause = "AREA> AND DISTANCE>" How do I add the strArea and strDistance to this whereclause? Do I need to convert them first to type "double", using something like: Dim dubArea As Double dubArea = Convert.ToDouble(strArea) Dim dubDistance As Double dubDistance = Convert.ToDouble(strDistance) If so, how would I then add the dubArea and dubDistance to my whereclause? What if I also wanted to have the user specify the >,<, =, etc. using separate Inputbox's? How would I also add that to the whereclause. Thanks again!
