Is it safe to say that this size issue still applies to v100.1 of the ArcGIS runtime for .NET (Xamarin) ? That is, with v100.1, has the runtime somehow shrunk ...or are there any other tricks or linker options that can get an iOS build down below the 100 MB limit?

We have an app that was initially created using v100.0 of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET (Xamarin). We updated the app (using Nuget) to v100.1. Now the app shows up blank (gray) with just the "Powered by Esri" label. This behavior happens for both CreateStreets() and CreateStreetsVector(). The DrawStatusChanged Event is fired twice - once with a Status of "InProgress" and then with a Status of "Completed" Any troubleshooting or tips for us to try? Thanks!

In our case, the WaitForPendingFinalizers() call was freezing the whole app in some situations. Probably something unique to a particular situation and what the garbage collector had to do. Really I am mostly anxious about a new version of the control. It's been 6 months But if anyone else hits this specific issue, this is the general workaround that we used instead of GC.Collect.. Basically just kept a list of Graphics and instead of Clear()'ing them, we re-use... // first keep a cache of Graphics. private List<Graphic> RouteGraphics { get; set; } {...} // later on when creating geometries... Any update on this? (or any news on an updated version of the ArcGIS v100.0 ?) We are having issues with the workaround mentioned above. Basically WaitForPendingFinalizers is freezing the app... and this is bad practice anyway.
