Looks like the lastest AGOL update has some movement in this area https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/create-maps/create-form-mv.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_C0751CD9ADFB4D25898C9C83C82BF787

@Anonymous User Have you considered connecting Fieldmaps to Survey123 using url parameters? I have a few projects that leverage both so I can take advantage of the Smart forms in survey123. Granted attribute rules would be simpler but it's a decent work around. Are your crews always connected to the internet when they are out in the field or are they operating offline most of the time?

https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/field-maps/field-mobility/introducing-arcgis-smart-forms/ Near the bottom of the article published on Jan. 3 2021about smart forms and the new field maps app. Attribute rules – are user-defined rules that can be used to automatically populate attributes, restrict invalid edits, and perform quality assurance checks on existing features when they are submitted. Attribute rules are coming to hosted feature services and to forms so that you can execute business logic in your form connected or offline.

After todays hub update all my embedded dashboards on my hub site are now loading BETA dashboards. This is causing some unexpected behaviors since I have not tested my dashboards in BETA yet. How can I disable this? Is there a new setting in Hub that I'm not aware of?

In the most recent (Sept) AGOL update it mentions that Point scene layers load and display up to two times faster by converting them to I3S version 1.7 This allows you to render scenes with large numbers of points more efficiently, such as when visualizing thousands of trees in a rural area. However when I try and run the i3s converter I get the message Can only convert 3DObject, IntegratedMesh, and Building layer types. The documentation also states that it's not supported yet. I happen to be trying to visualize lots of trees for a current project so being able to take advantage of 1.7 would be awesome. is this functionality not quite ready yet or am I just missing an important step?

I just want to make sure i'm understanding this correctly you said: use a calculation so that the additional _count field is not required in the schema So it is possible to use the repeat_count in a survey and not have an additional field added to my feature service. How and where do I add this calculation. Everything I have attempted so far still results in a ${repeatname}_count being added to my schema.

First thing I did was to try a layer without the procedural fill. However it looks like a rookie move on my part. I created multiple new project and scenes for testing but I copied over my layers from the original project. This last test I created a brand new project file and rebuild everything from scratch. Procedural fill layer seems to be working as expected. No more disappearing buildings! Thanks for all your help.

Thanks, I'll give the TIN dataset a shot. The final result will just be an animation so a web scene is not a issue for this project.

That makes sense!, my raster does have pyramids. I did delete my pyramids and cleared the cache to see if that made a difference but i'm still seeing the same results. Am I not configuring my building layer correctly? The layer is set to Features are on the ground, wouldn't that mean that if the lower resolution pyramid was rendered the buildings should still sit on top of that surface.
