Yes, you are right. The misunderstanding is on me. A GIS Professional user type needs the ArcGIS Location Sharing add on license to be able to use location sharing. I would agree that this is not in line with the general expectation that a GIS Professional user type is equal in capabilities with lower user types. To enable location sharing, your organization must first purchase ArcGIS Location Sharing licenses. This license is included in the Mobile Worker user type and is available as an add-on for all other user types. Enable location sharing—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation

This is a misunderstanding. The GIS Professional user type license has all the capabilities that the Mobile Worker user type license has.

Hi, you can do it by configuring feature and table search for the dispatcher web map. Just go to My Contents, locate your dispatcher web map, go to it's settings, and make any layer searchable.

As I understand it, the data_id parameter selects objects and make the map pan to the object, it does not trigger any actions set on the different widgets in your app. I have only tested if I can get the app to open with the map zoomed to a specific object and it is possible following Brian´s instructions above. By having two different maps in you app, saved with different default extents (and zoom levels), you can create the impression of the app zooming to a selected object, but actually it is just opening a different map that that shown as standard and panning to the object in question. I have not tested your specific workflow, my comment was regarding Brian´s original blog.

Great resource Brian! I found out this the hard way by trying myself, I should just have googled 😅 I had this idea that if I use URL parameters to select an object in, e.g., a list, and then define an action on this list to zoom to this object in the map, I would achieve an zoom-like URL parameter. It took some time to figure out why it zoomed sometimes and not sometimes, it was just because of my saved zoom level and had nothing to do with the actions I was configuring.

You should not experience problems with geoid height if you set the correct horizontal and vertical coordinate system settings for your input images and output project. That said, there seems to be cases when this does not always work. You should first make sure that you are using correct coordinate information system settings. If you still need to make corrections manually you need to figure out the geoid height in the area where you are. In Sweden, you can download a raster defining the geoid height from the national land survey. To fix raster data, like DEM, you can use ArcGIS Pro and the raster calculator to subtract the geoid height from the DEM. As for the mesh, I am not sure how to fix it.

Thanks for the update. I have encountered the decimal separator issue in various circumstances and it could be the case now as well as we are using non-english Windows. We have sent our case to Esri INC Support but have not heard back yet. Hopefully they can identify the issue and fix it in upcoming releases.

ArcGIS GeoBIM is available as Beta for Enterprise 11.0. I am not aware of any specific recommendations regarding ArcGIS Pro (other than that it is generally recommended that you keep ArcGIS Pro at its newest version). System requirements—ArcGIS GeoBIM | Documentation

This topic was about precipitation data so I do not think you would like to perform slope profile analysis on that kind of data? But you are right, web scenes only support ground, not custom elevation surfaces (Custom elevation surfaces are not supported in a web scene,) so to use both this kind of artificial vertical exaggeration and get correct height values when doing slope analysis in a web scene is not possible.
