Noticed this as well Rick Weisbond. Not that it should, but the widget also doesn't respond to the Unit preferences on your profile or for the whole Organization (Settings > Map).

The GeoForm does have some support for offline editing and synchronization. See the README for details.

I am not exactly sure what you mean about the look of the attribute table with code field/description. However, regarding the integrity of your FGDB: if you publish your data using ArcMap so that you get access to your domains in Online, you can export your feature service to a file geodatabase item and download it. See here.

Domains applied to fields in a related table can be used in the same way as spatial feature services if shared the supported way mentioned above. However, I do not believe you can edit the attributes of a standalone table in the ArcGIS Online web map viewer. You'll need to use a template or Collector to add/update/delete records in a standalone/related table.

When a File Geodatabase is shared to ArcGIS Online via .zip file: Domains also remain in the geodatabase, but are not accessible from the hosted feature layer. Documentation for this is here. If you want access to the domains in the hosted feature service you will have to share your feature class(es) by using File > Share As > Service from ArcMap. Steps are here.

Domains created in ArcGIS for Desktop usually do not have issues persisting when shared as a feature service to ArcGIS Online (at least in my experiences). However, I have read some bugs with domains when your data uses subtypes. Do you have the bug # that you are referring to? Which method are you using to share your FGDB to ArcGIS Online?

If you have the proper licensing then definitely use Delete Identical as Justin Hollenbach suggested....there is a tool for everything! Otherwise, here is a much simpler python script which should do what you need. I haven't tested it with a very large feature class so performance could be an issue depending on the # of records in your input datasets.

Just to clarify the problem you are trying to solve...if this is your attribute table: OBJECTID* NumberCYLA SRNumber Resolution_Code 1 11 1-23456 A 2 22 1-9987 B 3 33 1-23456 A 4 44 1-5555 C ...you would want the 3rd row deleted because it is a duplicate of row 1 (SRNumber and Resolution_Code match), correct? The code sample you grabbed is not particularly readable (to me) so I just wanted to make sure. Also, is the field NumberCYLA a unique identifier for your feature class?

Hi Bruce Harold, thanks for the response. This is also true for ArcMap: you can add feature services from Catalog ("My Hosted Services") to the active Data Frame or Map and then they can be used as inputs to tools. When the Feature Service is added to the Map, the application queries the service and displays the geometry. When you open the attribute table, it performs another query for the rest of the field attributes....at least this is what Fiddler shows. I am more interested in NOT dealing with an MXD. I would like an iterator/GP tools that directly reads the feature service(s) from your active Portal. This way the models and tools that are created are more flexible and dynamic and always reading new features from AGOL without needing then to be added to a map first. I am thinking the answer is ultimately going to be using custom script tools which I am familiar with and can do. But what would be great, is having the ability to write a script tool that functions like the native iterators in ModelBuilder. Every feature service it finds in your Portal, is an output of the iterator, used by the remaining GP tools of the model, before moving onto the next feature service that is found. Maybe part of the iterator is querying the endpoint of the service, receiving data, running JSON to Features, and outputting this result for continued processing? Can you write your own iterator with Python? Maybe ArcObjects is required for this...

Does anyone have any creative ideas or experience using the Iterators in ModelBuilder to cycle through a user's Feature Services in their "My Hosted Services" connection or through a "GIS Servers" connection to ArcGIS Online? I can think of a few ways to handle this within a Python Script added to a model, but so far, cannot get anything linked up using the out-of-the-box iterator and/or Model Only Tools. Along the same lines, if we can iterate through feature services, are there any Geoprocessing Tools that natively accept a Feature Service data type as an input -- adding the feature service directly from either "My Hosted Services" connection or through a "GIS Servers" connection to ArcGIS Online and NOT from the ArcMap table of contents?

I am able to connect without issue and my results are: Network Latency Test - Undetermined Latency test timed out. Network Route Test - Undetermined Network route test timed out at node 35. ArcGIS periodically polls this address for its connection to ArcGIS Online - you can see this in Fiddler. Do you have any trouble navigating to: http://www.arcgis.com/arcgisuris.xml?

When you open ArcMap or ArcCatalog the ArcGIS Connection Properties tool begins running in the notifications area of your taskbar. You can also find it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ArcGIS\bin\ArcGISConnection.exe Have you tried running the Connection Test through this utility (right-click taskbar icon > Run Connection Test)? Maybe it will provide more information as to why your machine cannot connect.

When opening an Operation view from 'My Content' of ArcGIS Online to view in the Operations Dashboard (Browser), I get caught in a redirect loop where the oauth2 login appears, I provide my credentials, the page refreshes, and returns me to the login page. This cycle continues. The dashboard is not shared publicly which is why I expect be prompted for credentials once. This occurs everytime I try to open the view in the browser when using the latest version of Chrome. The same seems to happen inconsistently in an incognito window. Fully clearing the browser's cache seems to temporarily solve the issue and the app will load on first attempt. However, after using ArcGIS online some time later, the redirect issue happens again. In the console I see the following error message: 'ALLOW-FROM https://ontarioregion.maps.arcgis.com' is not a recognized directive. The header will be ignored. If I modify the URL of my app from https://ontarioregion.maps.arcgis.com/apps/.... to https://arcgis.com/apps/.... and login then it works fine and actually directs me to the dashboard the first time around. This issue is either exactly the same or very similar to Syntax Error using Chrome to access sign in page. Thanks, Adam

There is currently a bug related to this issue: BUG-000084828 - Synchronizing local edits with the server fails fo.. and it looks like the sync will fail with feature services with >3,000 records (>2,343 for line features). Related to this, I have also seen the issue where the GlobalID field of the feature service converts to {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} when a local copy is created.
