Lately when I've tried to check in photos from ArcPad it says no edits were found, but the photos are there and I just copy/paste them into the appropriate folder.

This thread is a year old, but I have a similar question. I have nearly 400 SSF files in my GNSS Sessions folder in a personal geodatabase. I'm approaching the size limit of 2GB and I think these files are what is causing that. Previously we used an empty back up of the database and copied the data over which reduced the size, but it's starting to rise again. In the GPS Analyst Help it says that files out of the GNSS folder can not be deleted. Is the only solution to uncheck the GNSS enable box and re-check it? I had no part in setting this database up, I'm just the one who uses it everyday so changing things makes me nervous that I might mess something up.

I have a personal geodatabase that I have been working with for awhile now. I want to add two fields to a table; SignRating and SignShape for street signs. I want both to be drop down menus so I created a coded value domain for each; SignRating has values from 1 thorugh 5 and SignShape has a list of the various shapes signs can be. SignShape was working up till a couple days ago when I noticed the field was gone. I tried adding a new field, but I only get the drop down menu on new records I add. I have over 2500 records and I don't really want to go back and type in the sign shape for each one. The field doesn't come over at all when I check the data out with ArcPad on a GPS. SignRating also only gives me the drop down menu for new records I add on the computer. The field comes over to the GPS but still doesn't give me the drop down menu with values from 1 to 5. I have to choose <Null> every time because it says the default value is invalid and <Null> is the only option on the drop down menu. I tried starting over and I deleted the SignShape field and tried to delete the domain but I get an error saying "The domain is used by an attribute rule."
