If you aren't able to use AGOL and the PowerBI connectors, you can use an arcpy script to copy the layer and add a text column to hold the geometry as JSON. eg/ arcpy.AddField_management(featureclass, "Geometry_JSON", field_type="TEXT", field_length="2147483647") Then use a update cursor to populate the JSON. eg/ with arcpy.da.UpdateCursor(featureclass, ['SHAPE@JSON', "Geometry_JSON"]) as cursor:
for row in cursor:
if (row[0] is not None:
row[1] = row[0]
cursor.updateRow(row) Use the Geometry_JSON field to populate the Location well in PowerBI.

Hi Ayan and Nathan, Thank you for your input, that helps. Although I am unsure as to whether this would apply to my case as the REST operation states that it only merges coincident events in the case of additions, not updates and deletions? In my case, the features have already been loaded into the LRS database using the Append Events tool. In retrospect, could adding the Event Dissolve tool to a preprocessing workflow before performing Append Events be a solution to this issue?

Is there a programmatic method within the LRS Server to "Merge Coincident Events with similar attributes"? I see this option available in the Event Editor application but was looking to see if there was a batch method to perform this. This would be useful when the event layer has been unnecessarily split at a geographic location.

If a route has been added to the LRS with an incorrect FromDate, is it possible to modify this date attribute for the route and associated calibration points/events? When attempting to modify this route attribute in the attribute table for ArcGIS Pro, the error is returned: ERROR: Unable to complete operation., Only Location Referencing tools can be used to edit this feature/field. Is the only option to delete the route with incorrect FromDate and reload all of the events?

Also seeing this behavior with ArcMap 10.6.1 and license manager 2021.1. Additional instances of ArcMap that are opened are not honoring the existing license checkout for the machine. Any Update?

I am having trouble setting the outSpatialReference property on the RelationshipQuery object. I am querying a featurelayer with a wkid of 102300, and want it to return in 102100. It appears the outSpatialReference property has been applied, but whenever the results come back, they are always in 102300. The outSR property is not included in the outgoing REST request, even after setting this property in code. When running the same query in the ArcGIS Server Rest html interface, the outSR param is properly appended and executed. Has anybody else experienced this behavior in the javascript API? I can't figure out any other solution except to change the spatial reference of my map service to 102100. var relatedTopsQuery = new RelationshipQuery();
relatedTopsQuery.outFields = ["*"];
relatedTopsQuery.relationshipId = this.activeRelationshipId;
relatedTopsQuery.returnGeometry = true;
relatedTopsQuery.outSpatialReference = this.map.spatialReference;
relatedTopsQuery.objectIds = [this.selectedRouteId];
this.routeFeatureLayer.queryRelatedFeatures(relatedTopsQuery, lang.hitch(this, this.relatedFeaturesQueryComplete));

Hello, I have a script that iterates through multiple directories and runs a report on mxd information. Running into problems with it however whenever an empty mxd is loaded. Whenever running " DFList = arcpy.mapping.ListDataFrames(mxd)" I get a crash of the python script . Is there any way to test for an empty mxd or perhaps some other problem that i'm missing here. Andrew L.
