Is anyone aware of a way to copy field values from one feature class to a field in another feature class either python or modelbuilder?

I'm having this same issue in ArcGIS Desktop 10. The feature class (polygon) layer is visible only when at full extent. As soon as you zoom in, it disappears. I've tried recreating the feature class (i.e., redigitizing the polygons), but the new layer does the same thing. The coordinate system is correct. I've tried bring the layer into an established workspace and an empty workspace---same problem. Is there cache refresh options in Desktop 10? If so, where can I find them? Any help is appreciated!

Our geodatabases are set to State Plane projection and the x, y, z fields display coordinates in that projection. I've successfully used Calculate Geometry to populate the State Plane X, Y fields from points created in ArcMap. For reporting purposes, I also need to have Lat/Lon fields populated as well for each of those same features (point). How can I use Calculate Field, or Calculate X, Y, or Add X, Y to take the State Plane coordinates in those fields to calculate and populate the Lat/Lon fields? I'm not a programmer, so step by step instructions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
